The 11th ranked Trojans play at the 6th ranked Sun Devils tonight. Booty has been back for USC after sitting out a few games with a broken finger; but his last 2 games have been pretty horrific (157 yards passing against Oregon State, 129 against Cal). Rudy Carpenter, ASU's QB, has been nursing a sprained thumb, and only threw for 200 against UCLA in his last game. Thoughts and predictions for the crippled QB's, and their teams? It's on ESPN now.

I wan't ASU. It would put USC behind Florida and put us closer to Georgia if they get a loss. Not to mention the fact that I hate USC.

That's how I want it to turn out, too. We want to jump USC. Not a good start, though. USC scores a TD in about 1:47.:thumbsdow

Well, that helps. ASU runs the ensuing kickoff back 98 yards for a TD. Plenty of fireworks early.

Yeah, the blueout was cool but it's only so impressive when all of the stadium walls are orange. I personally think an orange-out would look pretty awesome. :thumpsup:

It's go nuts and rub it in all the faces of the FSU fans that they haven't beaten us in 3 years and they are still unranked. Nothing colors wise except the Orange & Blue. :thumpsup:

Hey y'all...I got distracted playing board games and eating all kinds of leftovers but you should check out this figure skating competition that I just found on ESPN.

It's tied 17-17 but I'm not sure how they do scoring....I thought the highest you could get in this sport was a 10? :unsure:

I think it's safe to say Carpenter just plain sucks. How much time does he think he's got back there? Throw it in the ground halfway to a receiver, throw it in the 10th row in the general direction of whatever routes were being run BUT JUST THROW IT!

Yep, once they rule it incomplete it's not reviewable. Stupid call by the refs, they should have let the play stand as a TD and then reviewed it afterwards.

I hate USC. They are trying to kill ASU with late hits and crap and the refs give them the benefit of the doubt on those plays like that incomplete.

It was. In fact, it wasn't even close to being a forward pass. Even live, I saw that it was a yard and a half, two yards backwards. The fix is in.:thumbsdow

Well, if ASU isn't going to win then I would love to see them get blown out to the point where they drop below us in the BCS. Otherwise they are going to further the gap between us and Georgia and pretty much eliminate our shot at the BCS. :sad:

I'll tell you right now... those guys better be glad they run the show in the PAC-10. If they showed that much flagrant favoritism for one team down here, somebody would pretend they were on a safari; and one or all of those guys would end up being gunshot victims.

And for every TD Joe McKnight scores, I feel that much faster. I ran against him in high school and only lost to him by about a car length. Maybe an SUV length. Ok, okay, bus length... :laugh:

I doubt it, but anything is possible. ESPN drools over USC's tools like no other. I'm pretty sure they're further up the Trojans ass than they are Notre Dame.

I'll never forget the SI issue I got early in the season where the cover was of USC football players and the title in bold letters was "USC ON FIRE" followed by some crap about John David Booty, and then "pac-10 or sec, which is stronger?"

And then there was the giant photo of Pete Carrol on ESPN the other day with the bold letters "TROJAN POWER" and an enormous article about how great Pete Carrol and the trojans are. Funny considering they are #11 and pretty inconsequential as far as the contenders go at this point.

The article titles should be "Fall From Grace - The Trojans and Mediocrity"
