View Full Version : Fat Coaches are good?

So I've been thinking, it seems that fat coaches have proven their worth in College Football. And I'm not talking Phil Fulmer fat either, I mean he's not even that husky anymore. Nah, I mean guys like like Ralph Friedgen or Mark Mangino. Guys with names that just make you think "my god these guys must be like a walking tank". It's an obscure topic for sure, but what I'm getting at is this. When it comes to the next SEC team looking for a new coach, perhaps we should look at the biggest waistline and weight as a measurement on a coach's worth? Also, Fat Coaches tend to be mean as nails and just that intimidation that they could come after you like a wild animal to strike down their prey would be enough to motivate even the most undisciplined of players?

lol, strange philosophy man. I'd still rather take Spurrier or Schiano over anyone. :D

I wouldn't be able to figure out which one of Mangino's chins to look at during his pre-game speech. That's gotta be pretty darn confusing to some of these players... :laugh:
