No way. The Big 12 and Pac 10 are descent but no better than the Big 10 IMHO and definitely no where close to an SEC level.
ESPN has a huge ban of idiots whom job is to piss everyone off.

This season has been so crazy, I think it is really hard to say who is the best conference. I think the SEC has the edge, but as far as the rest, I'm reserving judgement until after bowl season.

wilbon sorry
I don't even watch PTI anymore. Kornheiser gets on my nerves!!!! I think the Big 12 is better, because the Big12 North finally decide it wasn't going to play pop warner football, still they can't measure up to the SEC. The Pac-10 is not that strong either! USC has been disappointment and ASU looks good, but I'm not sold on them just yet.

I actually like to watch which player they decide to hype as the Heisman leader every week. BC moves up to #2 and Matt Ryan is all of the sudden the Heisman leader. It seems like every week they find a new guy to hype when guys that get the job done week in and week out like Tebow and Dixon have to fight just to stay in the conversation.

Have you seen College Football Now? That's pretty good....Charles Davis, Mayock....it's put out by the NFL Network. It's usually on right before Put Up Your Dukes. Too short, but it's a nice alternative....
I TIVO it every day.

The Heisman is all hypeman anymore. It all depends on who has the most accumulation of media issued man-love at the end of the year. Most of the guys who receive the hypeman are just pretty faces with slightly above average numbers who, more times than not, bomb out at the next level.

I don't know, it would be hard to make a point that the SEC is better this year. Auburn loses to average Big East Team, our possible winner of the East loses to average Pac10 Team. Our middle of the road Alabama team loses to middle of the road ACC team. We definitely aren't making much of a case for the best conference. We used to make the point that the SEC was better just by how many we put in the top 25, why can't that same logic apply to the big12?
If SEC doesn't take the best record in the bowl games, we will officially surrender the title for best conference.

There is a color guy, and I can't remember who, but an ex-player that I used to like as a player, but he sounds like Skip Bayless and it drives me up the wall. That's how much I hate that turd. I can't believe I can't remember who. Brain fart....

Um, that average Pac10 team you are talking about beat Oregon. They were not average when they played us. Longshore missed some time and they went in the tank. When Longshore is healthy, and he was against UT, they are not an average team. They beat Oregon and were at one time #2 and they played USC tough this weekend.

Wilborne said he'd vote Ore #1 because LSU hasn't beat anyone ranked on the road...WTF?
can any other team say that they beat as many ranked teams as us?
Just wait till Bowl season rolls around guys. SEC will be 7-3 or better.

I hope so triple D. We need to back up our talk with a dominating bowl year. We should be capable of this.

Seeing how weak the traditional powerhouses are this year, and the overrated teams in the BCS, I think so.

How! Just look at the records of the SEC teams, Who have we beat, how have we done it, How may are at least bowl eligible already not to say everyone will get in, That says volumes about the SEC, Folks, the rest of the country is just jealous....
