We suck. Our OL is the absolute worst in the nation. We have no chance to win another game this season. End of story.

this was posted after the vandy game and turned out looking like one of the best calls of the year...if clempson can beat usc that will be a hell of a call/hell of a fall by usc!

I don't see cLIMPson beating Carolina, unless Spurrier has a stroke, and all the players come down with the same sinus infection that put Harvin out of commission.

I don't know. I've hated climpson since birth. OK, maybe before then, but they have a running game when it clicks and thats a bad thing right now. Our defense has to find themselves if we are to survive this one. The tigger fans were probably licking their chops when Tebow chunked the last one to hang 50 on us.....

They think that they have actually did something outstanding. Wins over NcState, Maryland, Central Michigan, Wake Forest, Duke, Florida State, and Louisana Monroe, NOt exactly a call for dominace. There is not one team that has been ranked all year that they have defeated. I don't think they will win against Boston College.

i think clemson will beat USC. though i am not necessarily a believer in the tigers (or in tommy bowden), that is one series that seems to always tilt toward clemson (except for last year). the cocks do have a couple of advantages though: a bye week this week and the homefield advantage (not sure that's worth much anymore as the cock fans have been leaving extremely early over the last few weeks). in the end, it's probably a tossup.

I don't know why... they don't have anything even remotely similar to a Tebow. They won't be putting up points like UF did with just a running attack. Their RB's ain't anything even close to Arky's, either. Neither one even averages 100 yards a game. Keep in mind, too, that what stats cLIMPson does have were accumulated against these teams:

Florida State W 24-18
Louisiana-Monroe W 49-26
Furman W 38-10
North Carolina State W 42-20
Georgia Tech L 13-3
Virginia Tech L 41-23
Central Michigan W 70-14
Maryland W 30-17
Duke W 47-10
Wake Forest W 44-10

I, for one, am not impressed. There are only 3 decent teams on that schedule; and they lost by 10 or more to 2 of them.

cLIMPson has won most of the games they should have won and they've won a couple in a very decidedly fashion, neither of which we've been able to do. To think we have any advantage to win this game is unreasonable, IMO. I'm hopeful, but not optimistic. cLIMPson almost always plays their best game against us. Our confidence hasn't been this low in a long time. I'm afraid this may be a route and even further embarrassment for an already dismal end to our season. Despite words of encouragement from our SEC brethren, there is no reason (that I can think of) to justify our complete meltdown. We've had significant injuries but most teams do. We've had one of the toughest schedules, but all teams were beatable.

Spurrier has said that we shouldn't judge the team too harshly in his 3rd year and that better talent is in store next year. I'm hopeful but I'm not going to bet the mortgage. This year's collapse was worse than starting off slowly and getting better toward the end, even if the end record were the same. A team shouldn't get worse. That's what's really disturbing.

I am not impressed. We will win this game, Spurrier will have the team ready and the defense ready as he is going to work with the defense to see if he can find out the problem. I thilnk with two weeks, he will get it taken care of.

come on man, the team is beat up, we have not had a bye week to heal all the nagging injuries and say what you want, playing the physical teams in the SEC all these weeks in a row has had it's affect. Hang in there. E. Cook, Captain and a lot of others have to be at full stength.
