Vandy is coming off a deflating loss to the Kats of UK. Can we pull off the upset and become bowl eligible? We have to win these next 2 games to guarantee a bowl bid. 6 wins won't get it done! Vandy played well enough to win against UGA and UK this year, we just didn't get it done. Good luck dores! what does everyone think?

I dunno.... I think Tennessee will win if we don't over look you all. We've been pretty good at home so I'm gonna say......

Uncle Rocky thinks this is the trap game for Tennessee. The Big Orange must be mentally prepared for Vandy. Expect to see some option during the course of this game. Coach Johnson from Vandy is known for a nice option attack.

vandyfan, you guys have a good team this year. I was at the game on saturday, and in many respects, you guys deserved to win. i don't like your chances against UT b/c UT is solid at home, but i think you have a good shot against wake in the finale.

Vandy has a very good shot to win this game. From what ive seen of them this year they have been pretty inconsistant so far but if they put it together they could pose some threats. UT might have problems with the running attack of Vandy and the Vandy D is pretty stout. If UT hits the big plays its going to get ugly but im hoping The Dores are able to slow them down. GO VADY.

I don't see us having to much trouble with the Vandy running attack.
Just ask Arkansas who was projected to run for about 400 on 'em

We better win Iam going this weekend!! GO VOLS and by the way you guys are talking about Vandy's running game Mcfadden is the best and we stopped him so if we play like we did with Arkansas we can stop Vandy.

yup we shut down McFadden, and we shut down UGA. Those are the best two in the SEC I think we should handle Vandy as long as we don;t overlook them.

You never know with Vandy. Some games they come out playing well, others they come out, and their down 35-0 at halftime. I know Vandy can win if they play to their full potential. And maybe, UT might be looking ahead to the UK or LSU game, maybe...

UGA wasn't playing their best football when they came to K-town. They got it together against UF. Nice win against Arkansas though.

I was going to use the exact same opening line in talking about my Vols. :thumpsup: This game REALLY scares me. Everybody is overlooking the Dores with regards to the Vols' chances to go to Atlanta and the Dores are VERY capable of winning this game. If Vandy fans were as classy as the ones that reside in Athens, there'd be no less than 16 threads talking about how Vandy is undefeated in Knoxville over the last two years.:thumpsup:
I just still question the mental toughness of this Vol team. Should Vandy hit them early, it could be very uncomfortable. That said, the Vols seem to be "clicking" in every area lately and barring alot of turnovers, there's no reason to think that changes.
