3 SEC teams in the all-important Top 12. Nice. 5 still in the Top 25.
I was hoping we'd move up to 8, but at least we moved up a spot. After shellacking Auburn I'm a little surprised we didn't move up at least 2 though. Hopefully OSU will lose again to Michigan. And perhaps WVU will drop one... Kansas will drop one.

Kansas should drop AT LEAST one. They still have Mizzou, and probably Oklahoma in their Championship Game. Since Mizzou and Kansas play each other, one of them is going to get knocked out. It'd be ideal if Kansas beat Mizzou in their game, and then got beaten by Oklahoma. It's hard to believe there are 3 Big 12 teams in the Top 5... thankfully, they'll be assassinating each other down the stretch.

What do you think about Kansas. They seem to be steamrolling over everyone they play. I heard that they run a no huddle offense, which can be hard to stop and adjust to. I honestly would've figured that OSU (Oklahoma St.) would give them a much better game than they did.

I'll betcha that Ohio State blows out Michigan in epic proportions after getting beat this week and playing crappy.

Problem is that if Mizzou beats Kansas, they won't fall far in the rankings, they'll likely stay in the top 10. And the if Mizzou loses to Oklahoma, they won't fall far either. Thus my prediction of BCS bowls for all 3.

UF at number 12. I like it. If we win our next 2 (which we should) Then we should be in the top 10 at seasons end.

We likely won't get a BCS bowl though, unless Georgia ends up playing for the SEC Championship and losing. A 2 loss LSU and a 2 loss Georgia would make the BCS before us. So if Tennessee wins out, the SEC BCS teams are most likely LSU and Georgia, regardless of the SEC Championship Game.

Go Kentucky against Georgia.
Florida still can make a BCS bowl. I wish Auburn could have taken care of Georgia =\. Or Florida for that matter.

I don't know. Losing this late in the season is always worse on teams. Plus, just like USF and UConn, it almost seems like voters are itching to see teams like Kansas lose once... almost like they don't really think they belong there in the first place, but can't do anything until they actually lose. The teams that lose this late in the season seem to fall farther than they normally would. tOSU just went from #1 all the way down to #7. That's a big drop for a #1. These teams with less prestige and ranked lower could drop like a rock if they lose.... especially the 1-loss teams. If a 1-loss team loses in the last week or two, you can bet they'll almost assuredly be out of the Top 12.

Well other than LSU and Georgia most likely playing in BCS bowls, either Florida, Tennessee, or Alabama will have to match up againist a possible 3 Big 10 teams in either the Capital One bowl or the Outback bowl. They would be looking at playing either Ohio State, Michigan, Illinois or Wisconsin. The winner of the Ohio State / Michigan game will be a lock for the Rose Bowl againist either USC or Oregon.

I think if UGA drops a game either to UK or GT and if UT wins out then gets beat bad by LSU, then the Sugar bowl will take us. But thats only if UGA drops one and if we beat our next two opponents soundly.

I agree, but I don't see UGA losing again. I think they actually have a better shot of knocking off LSU in Atlanta than Tennessee does.

Only 2 teams from a conference can be in a BCS bowl in any year...
All teams earning automatic berths must be selected. No more than two teams from any single Conference may play in BCS games in a single year, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large picks.

Which is a good rule IMO.
We will beat our next two opponents soundly, we have FAU and FSU. Neither are good this year. We should beat FAU by at least 35 and FSU by at least 20.

Yeah...i see something like that happening. Man, I was in Columbus a few years back and ended up going to the Michigan/tOSU game...talk about hatred! Down here, we talk smack and you see occasional fights, but it looked like the Rodney King riots. I thought I was in Fallujah for a while.
I vividly remember a Michigan fan in broad daylight dropping his pants and taking a dump into a tOSU cap on the sidewalk...weird, weird rivalry. Best of luck to the nuts.

It is pure hatred. Columbus has been cleaned up a lot since the 2002 incidents but former tOSU and UGA president Karen Holbrook took it way to far. She is a witch! tOSU brought back Gordon Gee after his short stay at Vanderbilt as president. I am going to Michigan this weekend for the game and I have had a few things thrown at me like sod, grass, bbq chicken, etc... Most of the shinanigans (SP) come from the frat houses and college students. Michigan fans are a different breed of people and IMHO are totally classless.

Yes they are, but two years ago when tOSU lost at PSU, the PeeSU students threw bags (balloons) of urine on the tOSU marching band.
