I'll take JPW over Casey Dick (but there is no doubt that JPW had his worst game ever yesterday.) My father-in-law (an Auburn fan) will tell you without hesitation that Cox is the worst QB currently in the league (and one of the worst he has ever seen.)

Tim Tebow. I kid, I kid!

Why don't you just rank them from Tim Tebow down and then the last one would be the 12th best. That sounds much nicer.

Casey Dick is the worst, JPW is not too far off he just lacks consistency with mechanics Seth Adams is equally as bad as JPW.
I've always said that JPW is not too great he can be but unfortunately for him he isn't and won't be..
Star Jackson is the man in 08 if he don't start atleast a few games I know he'll get adequate PT

yeah wheres casey dick in this poll? I cant say it enough, if only we had a serious passing game and could stretch the defense out, our offense would be unstoppable

Casey Dick is horrible. The guy has the best two running backs in the country in his back field and he still sucks. They say the running game is a quarterbacks best friend, well I say Casey Dick's right arm is his worst enemy.

I have to agree with you, Cox is 24 years old and has only gotten worse each season under Borges.
For a senior QB he looks completely lost anytime he drops back to pass. He makes stupid decisions only a Freshman would make.
My votes goes to Brandon Cox, worst QB in the SEC.

Well i have to go with Cox but whats wrong with him mentioning JPW aswell? Get it in your heads, the guy has never been that talented some of you guys tried to make him look like. you never know what you get to see of him. I actually was the one who talked about this issue in that prediction thread. He is inconsistent, he could come out firing like a young Montana and screw everything the week after. My prediction prior to the game was: It all depends on JPWs game. Bama is not the kind of team that could overcome a bad QB play and win the game without him. They need him to play his best game to have a chance. Well he once again didnt play his best game.

how quickly he turns....LOL
he was pumping JPW for the heisman preseason and making fun of the auburn posters for bad mouthing Cox. LMAO@the hypocritical Mr. Cleo and his predictions preordained from God himself:laugh:
i guess Saban got outcoached by Croom?
let me backtrack...bama goes 9-3 wins the West via a win over LSU. LSU loses the VT game and then loses two more (one to bama). LMAO

I don't post there. I've no problem with the job Saban is doing. JPW lost the game yesterday. He fumbled inside the 5-yard line late in the game to lose the game to LSU AND did the same thing against FSU to lose that game. :brick:

I think John Parker Booty plays his heart out too. The guy is just not very talented. He goes for it though, sometimes too much. I still think it is unfair for those Bama fans who choose to place all the blame on Booty. Where was the run game? Shouldn't Saban and staff been able to outslick Croom? Bama lost, not just Booty.

this is just a convenient scapegoat for BP. INTs are part of the game. BP forgot that Carroll threw one too. Saban got outcoached. (gasp)

Thats simple the talent level on LSU is outstanding. That team is able to win almost regardless of Flynns play. They just need him to not screw things entirely. Alabama though needs JPW to win for them and he is far off being that kind of guy.

talent at alabama and state? probably right about alabama having more talent.. but ill take carrol, dixion, and ducre before any alabama runningback and JPW.. i'd like dj hall tho!.. haha.. but also remember.. next yr all 3 dixions will be playing for state.. and rayshun dixion is a beast of a athlete.. Antwan is a good safety..

Does Saban coach the OL? Does he have anything to do with the offense?
I don't really care who out-coached who and all that, I just want our OL to pick up a block once every blue moon. That would be nice.
JPW had a terrible game, but the OL had an even worse one. I laying the blame for this loss at their feet. Titus Brown killed Chris Capps all day long(sounds familiar!).

It is not JPW's fault that the coach sends him out there. The coach is supposed to have the judgement to know whether or not a player is worthy. JPW was deemed worthy. He plays, and that is it. If we had anyone else at all, he would have probably been given a chance already. It is bordering on reckless not to consider other options.

Agreed. but State has been playing above their level ever since the spanking they received at the hands of your Bayou Bengals.
The thing is, and this has been talked about ad-nauseum, when JPW is on his game, he is good. A lot of that may have to do with the targets he has on that offense, but give him credit for delivering a catchable ball. When he struggles, I still think he is, at worst the fifth best quarterback in the SEC. Seth Adams and Casey Penis are the two worst.

At this point, instead of engaging in the bickering, I will simply post my 12:
1. Tebow
2. Woodson
3. Ainge
4. Stafford
5. Flynn
Ok well....after that...there's issues w/anyone that could be mentioned. Casey Dick is bar none the worst. And maybe he doesn't suck, maybe he's horrid, but he's not gonna get to showcase "that arm" playing in Fayetteville, can ya dig it?

Keep hammering away at this one, it doesn't change the fact that Les Miles is the head coach of a team that is 10th in the country in penalties against per game and leads their league in penalties against. You can sit there and pooh pooh it all you want, but the simple fact is this: If you make it to the national title game and you run up a tab of 150 penalty yards against, it WILL bite you in the ass.
I just think it funny how you think all Alabama fans think Saban can do no wrong, when you're the same way with Miles.

Sorry Kicker, but you missed that one wide right. This recruiting class isn't even in the books yet. It ain't looking great, but it's still a bit too early to judge. Last season, we started slow but finished strong for a concensus top five group. If we win games, we'll get recruits.

Aw come on Mike, you know you guys don't dominate like you used to, that's what I mean. The state ofTennessee doesn't produce enough at the high school level to sustain UT as a championship-calibur team. With the parity of coaching now in the SEC and teams like UK, MSU, and Vandy on the rise, it's getting harder and harder for Phil to win his out of state wars (which have always been the secret to his success). Yeah, Tennessee will always pull in decent classes based on it's name and tradition alone, but so did Bama after Stallings left and lets just say you don't want the type of seasons we had from '97-'06 (save '99, '02, and '05).

interesting stat....LSU averaged 70 yarsds a game in penalties in 2003...i think we were 92 out of 119 teams. who was our coach then? what was flor ranked last year in penalties? second to last. i guess Meyer is a bad coach too? LMAO
i think Miles is a good coach, not a great one and prolly not better than Saban. But it cracks me up how you guys think Saban is some infalliable God. I love to point out the hypocrisy in your delusion. that's all. good luck with that.
