I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this. Bama and auburn has lost to the same teams in the sec. They both have one ooc lost to teams they should have beat. I think that the iron bowl is shaping up to be a good one. There QBs are having the same kind of year. Overall I think auburn has the better team, but it all depends on which bama team shows up and which auburn team shows up.

My thoughts exactly Bamafan. Auburn has alittle more skill then bama, however if we are not able to put that skill to very good use then I expect a close shoot-out game.

Yep, both Bulldogs mauled both Alabama SEC teams. Tells you the quality of play we have this season eh?

This year's Iron Bowl will be very evenly matched. Both teams are going to be 7-4. Both teams have had frustrating, close losses. Both teams are wanting to salvage the end of the season to improve their bowl status and win the annual battle for state braggin' rights. Both quarterbacks are having subpar seasons.
It has all the makings for a very tight ballgame.
By the way, expect this one to be on CBS at 12:30 PM. CBS is doing a double-header on the 24th but FSU and Florida will probably get the 4 PM start.

Ugh, I don't even want to think about it right now. JPW gets rattled so easily, it's pitiful to watch. AU's defense will have him playing like he did today, I'm sure of it. This could be a low-scoring, incredibly ugly affair.

Once again it all depends on who shows up. Jekyll or Hyde.

This is why I really hope we get a solid running game established against Auburn. We've GOT to take the pressure off of John Parker Wilson. Our pass protection has really struggled the last two weeks. Hopefully we will get Caldwell, Davis, and Coffee back for the Iron Bowl. We could really use them. We've missed Coffee's presence as a power back, too.
