I was impressed by State when we played them. This isn't all that shocking considering what happened last season and some of State's spirited play this season as well. Congrats! You've now proven what a lot of us have suspected, you guys are officially well beyond the patsy status.

Great freakin game bulldogs! Man, I almost wet myself more than once while listening to that game! It was awesome, and I couldn't be happier. You guys have shown all year that you are contenders and today was no different. You took advantage of Alabama mistakes and mustered just enough offense to pull out the win. Hard fought, well managed game, things didn't start off great but y'all found a way to overcome it and win anyways.

I'm glad one of the state instituitions is turning it around, of course I wish it were my Rebels, but just to see signs of life coming out of Mississippi again is something that makes me very excited. I hope you guys win one more (against Arky :)), but you know I'll have to pull for my Rebs at the end, even though we will probably lose. Maybe you guys will get a great bowl and continue to rise. Hopefully we'll get back to the point to where the Egg Bowl actually means something again, just like old times.
