Some absolutely ugly looking UGA uniforms.
Don't get me wrong, I love black uni's, but with the red helmets? YUK!!!!!!
I see Richt has to again resort to some type of tactics to try to get a win instead of just lining up and playing football.

To me its a sign that Richt/UGA is getting desperate. I think before the UF game, Richt sensed that UGA was doomed for another 8-4 (or worse) season. They had the bye week and Richt schemed & schemed.
I do indeed hope this comes back to bite them in the butt. If they lost to AU tonight they still have two more very losable games in UK at GT.

I agree wholeheartedly. I even thought the same thing to myself as I watched them come out in black shirts, and try the intimidation thing. He's grasping at straws, but I'll be the first one snickering if it backfires. Those calls have kept AU in the game, and enabled them to take the lead. Twice they'd have been stopped if not for personal fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct calls. Once you get the players rolling with that kind of behavior, it's much harder to stop than start.

Moreno is just damn good. He reminds me of Barry Saunders. The cuts this guy makes are un-frickin-believable.

Tonight was depressing. God, that was depressing. Aw hell, I need something to numb the pain, my god we fell apart and gave up. Hats off to Georgia for turning it on and off and on at a whim.

3D, truth be told UGA should be in the hunt for a NC most years. You have first dibs at in-state recruiting much like LSU and Bama historically. There are a lot of comparisons between our programs and in recent years UGA has suffered from underachievement,however, much like AU. However, you guys look very set for the next few years. Great QB and RB core plus very good WR and a top 5 recruiting class for 2008. If Coach Richt can keep this relaxed, fun persona then the sky is the limit of UGA.

Tigers, great game. I know me saying that won't help but it's the truth. It really did look like you guys ran out of gas. You guys had some great games this year and when that happens you know you can't have many of them. Hold your heads up high, you can still go in and beat Bama which will make you almost forget about this day. Remember, you guys won three straight against the Dawgs a couple of years ago and you can't do that every year.

Teams get desperate when they lose, not when they become one of the best teams in the nation at the end of the year. If scoring 40+ three games in a row is desperation, then I guess I can live with being desperate.

yea, this whole "desperate, grasping at straws" thing is a bit ridiculous. Changing things up is desperate? I think its just being a good coach. When a team is running the ball well, so they put the ball in the air more, is it that desperate? Hell no, it's just making the necessary adjustments to win the game. Why would any good coach sit back and let his team play with no emotion.
Desperate is giving the ball to your "superman" QB on every play because your offense isn't balanced.

Good game Dawgs!!! Some of those penalties were weak calls and some were deserved. I noticed a lot of rivals on who are still angry over the game a few weeks ago. Come on guys, let it go. Your teams are playing well, except USC. Support your SEC East comrades.

We were definitely on high octane Sat. night. Auburn's a great team, no doubt. The last two meetings aside, a total of 109 games, the total point difference was what? Two points. This has always been, and will always be, a great rivalry. I know next year will be a true slugfest, slober-knocker, what ever you want to call it.
Georgia's come a long way this year. Here's hoping we can keep it up. I don't think it will be a problem. While Kentucky has turned the corner and is a good team, I would hope the memory of last year, and what can still be accomplished this year, would be all the motivation we would need. Go DAWGS!
