LOL  Yeah, they had 2 fumbles in their first 11 plays & Clausen just ended the last drive by almost throwing a pick then throwing it 10 yards over an open receivers' head on teh sideline.

Don't you think that at this point, ND has no choice but to get rid of Weis? I don't know how much they have to fork up for a buy-out, but it is clear he does not inspire his players to play to win. I don't see how you fire Willingham when they did, but keep Weis after a season like this.

That said, it's been fun to watch and nice to know they won't be stealing another BCS bowl berth.

I think it's been something like 63 years since they lost to the service academies. I've never witnessed an implosion like this. The season can't end fast enough for Domers; and it'll be a looooong time before they'll be able to convince anyone they deserve their lofty reputation. They hadn't won a bowl game in like 10 years prior to this season... now they won't even go to one, and should end up being the worst team in Division I.

ND has got a lot of rebuilding to do, both to justify their "lofty" reputation, and to get on the winning track again. I think this will have to mean a new coach.Things are not going the way ND football should go. I am, by NO means, a fan of this school, but they do have my respect. They should be playing a lot better. It will be interesting to see if they greet next season with the same coach, or if they clean house. I am thinkng, clean house if they want to get back their former repuation, and if they want to inspire dread in their opponents. They are not worrying anyone this year, and havent for a while.
