I recently went to a site checking rankings of top players. It had it broke down by positions. Under runningbacks they had 19 listed. And nowhere to be found was Felix Jones. How can this be. Felix is easy on of the top Five back much less top twenty. Take a look at this, something noteworthy, Peyton Hillis was ranked top FB out of the eleven listed. Marcus Monk was listed at 17th out of 28 listed. That shows alot of respect he has got even though he has sat out most of the season with a knee injury.
Top Runningbacks
1. Darren McFadden, 6' 1" 213, Arkansas*
2. Jonathan Stewart, 5' 10" 236, Oregon*
3. James Davis, 5' 10" 210, Clemson*
4. Steve Slaton, 5' 9" 193, West Virginia*
5. Ray Rice, 5' 9" 196, Rutgers*
6. Mike Hart, 5' 8" 200, Michigan
7. Chris Johnson, 5' 11" 194, East Carolina
6. Allen Patrick, 6' 0" 195, Oklahoma
7. Ryan Torain, 6' 0" 215, Arizona State
8. Tashard Choice, 6' 0" 205, Georgia Tech
9. Brandon Ore, 5' 10, 205, Virginia Tech*
10. Ian Johnson, 5' 11" 198, Boise State*
11. Dantrell Savage, 5' 9" 190, Oklahoma State
12. Andre Brown, 6' 0" 233, NC State
13. Yvenson Bernard, 5' 9" 203, Oregon State
14. Chauncey Washington, 5' 11" 219, USC
15. Albert Young, 5' 10" 209, Iowa
16. Chris Markey, 5' 11" 204, UCLA
17. Calvin Dawson, 5' 10" 207, UL Monroe
18. Justin Forsett, 5' 8" 188, California
19. Kevin Richardson, 5’ 9” 190, Appalachian State (1AA)
How many of these guys are better than Felix Jones in your opinion?
Footnote: Felix Jones average per carry is 9.3 yds. And that's best in the nation.

I don't know how you can't put a 1,000 rusher averaging over 10 per carry in your top 10 at least! DMAC and Felix compliment each other very well, they remind me of Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams from AU, but possibly better.

What site is that from? It can't possibly be a true sports site, but a site that just talks about sports on the side. I never realized the SEC only had one RB worth mentioning in a group of top 20. How about UK's Little or UGA's Moreno? And, for the record, Jones AVERAGES 2 more yards per carry than the next 3 closest guys; none of whom even have 600 yards rushing yet (to Jones' 1029). He averages 2.3 yards per carry more than the next closest guy with at least 1000 yards; who, ironically, also isn't even on the list.

I'll vote for Felix. I'll vote 20 times if he promises to go pro.

lol. I hadn't had my coffee this morning and just scrolled on the default page that popped up. It starts out on the QB's and I just trolled for McFadden and he wasn't there. I nearly broke into a cursing tirade before I figured it out. :D

Better read up pal, He averages 9.3 yds. per carry. 2.3? Must have been a Florida poll.

Maybe you should read up pal.....GU said "He averages 2.3 yards per carry more than the next closest guy with at least 1000 yards; who, ironically, also isn't even on the list." That means the next closest guy with at least 1000 yards averages 7.0 yards per carry. Simple math (try to stay with me)....9.3 -7.0 = 2.3.
By the way, I believe GU was supporting the fact that he should have been on the list.

You mind, we're talking football here, something that doesn't exist in South Carolina. So go back to your chores Ebb.

I am sure if he declared for the draft he would be in the top 5 of many a pro scout.

Isn't there a rerun of Hooterville you should be watching?
Typical response from the resident Hooterville expert, which is about what I expected from you. You can't even admit you misread GU's post before you jumped all over it.

And isn't he need to be the one to correct me for his post being misunderstood, or do you go around and police reply's gone bad? And by the way Mr. TV. Hooterville isn't a name of a show. It's a place where Ex-coaches go to pasture never to coach again. And as a resident, you should have know that Ziffle.

LMAO......You're lecturing me on when I should and shouldn't post when most all of your posts are flames about someone or their team? Now that's what I call priceless.

Well, I'll show you where I'd put Jones.
1. Darren McFadden
2. James Davis
3. Mike Hart
4. Steve Slaton
5. Ray Rice
6. Brandon Ore
7. Tashard Choice
8. C.J. Spiller
9. Ian Johnson
10. Felix Jones
...if I had done these rankings before watching WVU/UL, Slaton would have been 2, in front of both Davis and Hart, but since he was taken out of his game by Pat White, Slaton drops in my rankings
