What do the fans of Ole Miss think of the Defense Coor. John Thompson? Is he liked, or hated in Oxford?

No one really knows yet. It was a move by Orgeron to get some heat off him and possibly to have a fall guy if he has to fire someone. He won't turn the defense over to him.
If it were, I think Thompson would field a good defensive unit.
He should know a lot more than a career (pre-Ole Miss) defensive line coach. We are paying T 300k a year. Why not let him earn it.

as well as D-Line he was an associate head coach
