"Ole Miss defensive end Greg Hardy said he's unsure of his football future after apparently being suspended for the rest of the season.

Lan Hardy, who spoke to the coaching staff about her son's suspension on Monday, said the coaches would not release him to another SEC team or Memphis if he transfers.

Hardy is the third Ole Miss player in the past month-along with lineman John Jerry and Corey Actis-to face disciplinary action because of violating team rules.

But Orgeron became agitated when asked if he thought the disciplinary problems were becoming a trend."

Anyone fool enough to climb on the back of so many unbroken horses surely must expect to get bucked off at some point.

Sounds like things are getting bad there. Not having Hardy is going to really hurt them should he leave. That guy is an absolute beast.

if Hardy transfers then that is the end of me defending Orgeron the little bit that I do anyway....
that'd be absolutely ridiculous he is a lock for SEC 1st team selection but this certainly doesn't help and this doesn't help with anyone gaining game expierence or getting PT no one replacing him are any younger just a scrub senior that played above his ability 1 game..

From all reports, Hardy deserved to be suspended.

I commend Orgeron for suspending him if even some of the rumors I've heard are true. Now, if he's letting some play after smoking dope and all he did was lie about where he was during a team meeting, then there are a ton of underlying problems at Ole Miss.

I remember something about "chickens coming home to roost."
