Any chances of McFadden Heismen hope ended with Florida International. I said Florida International. 19 carries for 61 yards isn't really a attention getter. The dreamers in Arkansas can now rest. I knew it would be a long shot for him even if he did put up desent numbers this season. But 61 yards against a team like yesterday is not very good at all.
Still Darren gave the fans of the state something to cheer about for awhile. Dreams of the first Heismen winner from Arkansas, and a possible #1 overall NFL draft pick gave hogs fans from all parts of the nation hope and something to cheer for. But realility has set in that it takes much more than one guy to get it done. Though he will be an addition for some NFL team in 08, it's sad that the college world couldn't have seen his true talents. Makes you wonder what Florida, Georgia or a Norm Chow coached team could have done with this athlete.

I think he is gonna have a great game against Tenn. Look at what Boyd was doing to them in the second half.

Yeah yeah yeah Boyd had a great game. But im lookin at the standings in the East and the scoreboard at the end of the USC TN game.

Dear god, tonight I pray that Darren McFadden runs for over 200 yards against Tennessee and they win the game in a blowout

I would still take him if I was the Dolphins or Rams. IMO he's the greatest RB in the nation, regardless of what team he plays.

Everyone in the stadium knows he is about to get the ball. If Arky wasn't so one dimensional, he'd have Heisman numbers right now.

What makes it worse for DMAC is that he shares the ball with -- Felix Jones; what makes DMAC so special is his size, speed, and power.

I doubt he has any shot at the Heisman, but he did put up 4 TDs along with those 60 yards. He will do great in the NFL, and I agree with you TD, he's already made every Arkansan proud!!
