All season I looked to the SEC for what I thought was the game of the week. That may come to an end Saturday. Indeed LSU @ Alabama proves to be a good game with the battle of coaches, but for my must see game this week, a fan must turn to the Pac10 where #4 Arizona State will take on #5 Oregon. That proves to be a fun match-up and will settle some BCS questions in January.
Something else that has nagged me for a few weeks now is Kansas. I really thought Kansas State was the state champ before the two played weeks ago. But after yesterday's beat down of the Aggies, in what I felf was their toughest opponent this season, I wondered who is going to beat this bunch. With not playing Texas, Texas Tech or Oklahoma, the 07 schedule is in the Jayhawks favor with 3 of the last 4 games being at home. Nebraska, Iowa State and Missouri are at home and in two weeks they traval to Oklahoma State where they may stumble against the upset minded Cowboys who are known for breaking the hearts of undefeated season dreams. But if it doesn't happen, the BCS will have it's hands full with what to do with the 12-0 Jayhawks.
