With each day, the tension between Alabama and LSU seems to grow a little more.
I have to admit, it's creative. It will get some Bama folks pretty steamed, but it's part of the passion of college football.

Disrespectful and pitiful.
Disrespectful to the Coach Bryant of course.
And
Pitiful because the only iconic figure we could poke fun at with LSU, is on the sidelines in Tuscaloosa.

Wow.
It's like someone asked, "What if Coach Bryant moved to New Orleans and became a pimp?"

It's usually a bad idea to goad a team and give them an emotional boost. LSU is clearly the more talented team of the two, but this has been the year of the upset. Why do something like this? I'd be pissed if a bunch of UA students pulled a stunt like this.

I agree, I think it is very stupid. Alabama is a team that feeds on emotion, much like it's fans. I lived in AL a couple of years, and I've never seen ANY fans that actually seemed to worship a football coach. I'll never forget the first time my wife and I went to a couple's house that we became best friends with for the first time and met their son. Guess what his middle name was: yep, Bryant. I bet there are more "Bryant"s in the state of Alabama than all other states combined. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that many of these people are cocky and brutal fans but they are loyal and undying. All they need is a spark to turn it into an explosion. I think LSU mocking their Bryant god is more than a spark, it's a full blown fire. It will definetly make things interesting and to be honest, I wouldn't wanna be within 20 miles of the game 3 days before or 3 days after. It'll be wild!

Its got the same feel as the 93 Sugar Bowl with Miami. I expect either Bama to get whipped like a yard dog or a focused Bama team shocks LSU. Then again it could go to 5 OTs.

Yeah I could see one of those 3 happening:unsure::thumpsup:

The thing that bothers me is that this will change the whole atmosphere of the pre-game. I know there will be alot of animosity anyways before the game, but this will just further it. So much for having some good mixed team tailgating. I hope its not the case, but I have a feeling there will be alot of ill-feelings being verbally and physically demonstrated before the game.

I sorta have that feeling too, all the hype for little

If you say it's flattery, then it must be flattery. Fact is, we're pissed off - and I'm not just talking about the fans, I'm talking about the recruits that Saban desserted. But he won't be the only iconic figure of LSU for long. Especially when we stomp a mudhole in Bama next week on the Road to the BCS. Have you noticed the scores of LSU games after a break, since Miles arrived? They're all asswhoopins. Write it down.
BamaFan - There might be a little more animosity, and maybe a little more rib poking... but it's all in good fun... I think it might even make for better tailgating...

i think it's gonna happen.... seriously, i don't know what Miles does during the off time, but when they get back on the field, it's like they've been injected with asswhoopin' medicine.
I don't really feel like looking it up, but if you want to, you can look at the bowl games, and the games immediately following the off weeks the past 2 yrs. asswhoopin medicine, I say.

Houndstooth is a Bama thing not LSU even if they throw a little feather and purple band on it. I'm not a Bama fan but if I was I wouldnt find that insulting so I dont really understand that whole idea.
