Boyd splits carries with Mike Davis right down the middle so I don't think he's going to be a threat to have the huge stat game of the week.

But if you'd like to put money on that line for Locke, I'd be more than happy to take you up on it. A 13.3 ypc average against a team that's not exactly a pushover against the run is asking quite a bit from a backup RB. I'm sure he's got talent but seems a bit much to me...

sorry, i don't see it. i wouldn't be surprised if locke passes the 100-yd. mark this week, but miss st.'s run D is no slouch. plus, locke is generally coming in as relief, will be interesting to see how he fares as a starter.

I hate to break this to you, but he's entitled to his own opinion just as you are. He has every right to post here just as you do.

To say his opinion is wrong and yours is right is just plain stupid. While I can see where he's coming from, it does sound kinda asinine when you make lofty predictions with nothing to base it on.

Case in point, the TB that you have mentioned has NEVER really played or had any significant playing time and yet, you're predicting 200 yards rushing against one of the toughest run-defenses in the SEC???? I think that's crazy too!

I don't hate UK at all. They are a great team and I have said that in my posts repeteadly. I just think you posts are a little over board and just big time homer picks. I'm entitled to my own opinion, just like you are so I can post whatever I want. What I don't understand is, how can you not give USC any credit for the win? We played a hell of a game and make it tough for woodson and that offense. You can't just say that your offense had an off day, our defense had something to do with it. I make claims like we would have beaten USC 9 out of 10 times if we played them...well news flash you don't play them 10 times. You lost and thats it. You beat a great LSU team and you have every right to be proud of your team and have high expectations. I just think its odd how you came out and said about which team is going to win the east; and you said I know one team that won't win it, it's USC. When you come out and bash USC, I'll come back and defend my school, end of story.

Woodson is going to have a great time passing all over the field, but Smith is gonna make a lot of short gains. He'll break the 100 yd mark.....I'm predicting he gets about 135 yards tomorrow.

HaHa you wouldn't have to say that to me. 15 incompletions would be a major improvement for the Vol secondary. It is South Carolina's turn to sweep the weekly offensive awards against our offensive defensive. I hope that Sunday practice pays off and our defensive can knock down a pass or two.

I like Kentucky and am extremely impressed with their football team. But more importantly, I enjoy seeing Wildcats' fans posting about how they're going to win the East (which is entirely possible). It's miserable on here when it's the usual suspects in the title hunt and the rest of us are playing for 3rd or 4th. Not saying we won't be 4th, or even, 5th by the end of the season, but I'm enjoying being in it while it lasts. It's crunch time now, but unfortunately, the season is going by way too fast, for me.

With what happened between USC and Vandy last weekend, i should serve as a severe warning that no team in the SEC is talented enough to just "show up" and win against another SEC team.

MSU is not a great team by any stretch, but a few penalties and turnovers here and there and they could easily beat the Cats.

Having said that, you better hope the coach and team aren't taking MSU lightly.

I think Woodson has big day passing if he can get protection, but holding state's starting d-line won't be easy. THey have some good players up front, but it's depth that hurts them. MSU will keep things interesting the first half (keep within a touchdown, maybe two), but in the 3rd is where KY will pull away for a big win. I don't know much about the KY running backs, but I don't think they'll run all over the field all day.
