I saw this thread on Rivals. Someone posted asking about Gator's feelings on Mick Hubert as the voice of the Gators. He said that he cringed at the guys voice and the, "Oh my!"s put him over the edge. I was just curious to see what fellow Gators thought about it and other SEC schools, if you have heard him. Personally, I love the guy. I love the excitement in his voice and it gives me chills when he does the "Oh my." Lately, I have noticed myself saying it a lot when I cheer on a big play. Thoughts?

Was the guy actually a Gator fan, or a fan of a rival team? I remember years ago when I was a young guy (seems like a lifetime ago), and UGA used to beat us, I hated Larry Munson's nasal voice. I hated it because I knew if I heard it snotting all over the microphone, we had just gotten scored on. Of course, times have changed, and I've had to hear it less and less, so it doesn't bother me anymore. Plus, I think he just quit doing away games, too. Not sure about the WLOCP, though. Point is, if the guy who can't stand it is a rival fan, you know why... his team just got scored on. If he's a Gator, he's one of the few disgraces in our Nation.:thumpsup:

I love Hubert....I just wish he took it a bit easier with all of the nicknames, lol. Everyone's name has to rhyme with something. It's cool, but when I'm not in the mood, it's kind of annoying....

Late last year, I almost found myself hoping Dallas didn't score a TD, lol. "Almost" being the operative word, lol.
