givens. LSU is as close to being 4-3 as Arkansas is to being 6-0. Arkansas, considered to be at the bottom of the SEC this year has lost 2 games in the last 30 seconds and had the lead, late in the 4th quarter until a roughing the kicker call allowed the go ahead TD for Kentucky. There is definately a fine line between great years and poor years. Few breaks here and there and its a different season. Maybe the hogs can get a few breaks in the second have of the season and still have a good year. There are good teams across the board. Vanderbilt beats USC on the road. USC beats Kentucky. Kentucky beats LSU, Tennesse thumps Georgia, Alabama thumps Tennesse, Miss. State beats Auburn, Auburn beats Florida. Almost impossible to go undefeated in SEC.

Auburn was last to do it and didnt even go to the n,c B/S haha but Florida is 2 plays away from #1 in the nation :brick:

Exactly...and anybody going undefeated again will be a pretty tough task in this conference....everybody says AU had a weak schedule in '04 but yet we beat UT twice/beat UGA/beat ARK/beat LSU..we were only team in nation to beat 4 top 10's yet got no love...anyway thats a BCS topic----the point is, you are correct we beat the sh*t out of each other week in and week out...way too many tough teams in the SEC...you basically have to hope that you only get 1 loss and still get voted into the NC like UF last year---if there are 4 undefeated in other conferences then we get screwed---damn media needs to realize the toughness of the SEC and show some love---I promise u all the other conferences could not play in this league week in and week out...they maybe can come to the SEC and pull off A win but could they do it every weekend---NO WAY---- i would vote a 2 loss SEC team in over some undefeated's and for sure a 1 loss SEC team---I love the fact that we are the dominant conference but at the same time it sucks because not all people realize that fact and teams get screwed here:angry:

i am just hoping that the conference gets its chance against OSU or one of the other pretenders. I would bet a lot of money on a 1-loss LSU (or a 2-loss UF) against just about anyone else in the nationa, especially given the game will be held in SEC country (New Orleans).
