I thought it would be interesting to try and predict how the rest of the season will go in the Eastern Division. Granted it's nearly impossible to predict this, but I'll take a stab at it and I'd like to see yours.

South Carolina
at UT L
at Arkansas W
Florida L

Tennessee
SC W
Arkansas W
Vanderbilt W
Kentucky L

Florida
vs. Georgia W
Vandy W
at SC W

Kentucky
Miss St. W
at Vandy W
at Georgia W
Tennessee W

Georgia
vs. Florida L
Auburn W
Kentucky L

Vandy
at Florida L
Kentucky L
at UT L

So where does that leave us?
Florida 6-2
UK 6-2
UT 5-3
USC 4-4
Georgia 4-4
Vandy 2-6

Florida wins by virtue of their head to head vs. UK. Should make for interesting conversation. (Cue the crying of the Dawg fans)

Everything you would have said would be fine if you didn't make an ass out of yourself with the last statement.

UF probably. Wouldn't be shocking to see USC pull off the upset though.

Once Nov comes, I think it will be a more clear picture of who's really got the shot at it. Obv UF is the only one who has complete control as if they win out, they win the east.

South Carolina is in the same boat still. If they win out, that leaves Florida and UT with 3 losses and South Carolina owning the head to head with Kentucky and Georgia.

I hate to say it will be UF. I do not want to play them again in Atlanta. Anybody but them.

Right now I agree with you, so I can't really offer a rebuttal. My only comment is where does that leave the puppy dawgs?

But, getting back to the topic of the thread, I pretty much agree with your pics. UGA may also lose to Auburn and USC may also lose to Ark, but the end result would be the same. FLa vs. LSU II

This is assuming that UF will beat SC. I agree with the GA win but am worried about the SC game.

I'm not worried about SC at all...because we don't play them yet. I'm worried about Stafford having a field day with our adolescent DBs...:(

If Woodson couldn't beat you I don't see how Stafford can. He hasn't exactly been lighting it up this year. He's been inconsistent at best. Honestly, your defense isn't really a concern as long as Tebow and company keep putting up all of those points it might not catch up to you until the SECC game or a BCS bowl game.

Because we field ELEVEN players, not just ONE. Jeez your logic is really messed up sometimes. Woodson couldn't beat Florida, but Brandon Cox did... does that mean that Brandon Cox is a better QB than Andre Woodson? :glare:

Woodson COULD beat Florida.

As mentioned before the game, I think the fact that Florida had a bye week while Kentucky played the #1 team in the Nation had a lot to do with the outcome of that game.

Make no mistake about it, none of the SEC teams want to play against Woodson and Kentucky when they are on.

All I can say for sure is, it's going to be an incredible finish in the East. I still think Florida is the team. But the way this season is going, might just end up being Vandy before it's all said and done. Kentucky and South Carolina have certainly made the East very interesting this season.

As long as Georgia scores before Florida they have a great chance of winning. If UK had stopped UF on that first drive I think they would have won.
