From a story I read on al.com, Auburn's starting center is listed as day to day after suffering a knee sprain late in the second quarter of the Vandy game. Ryan Pugh finished the game @ center and will play there again this week if Bosley cannot go. The good news is that Pugh was the second string center earlier this year so is well versed in the center position. The coaches are not ruling out the possibility that Bosley will be back for the Arkansas game. Another result of his injury was that King Dunlap has got back on the field at the left guard position after losing his starting spot a few weeks ago. According to the story they should know more about Bosley's condition later today.

I guess 'day-to-day' is better than 'out indefinately' but I hope we get him back. I think I read that he has consistantly graded out the highest of the o-lineman. With Pugh's experience at that position, perhaps we would be ok against the ARK defense.

Pugh is solid and I expect him to do fine. Hopefully Dunlap has got his head back in the game now.

Speaking of Dunlap, I hear Tubby is really cracking down on folks that arent giving their all. From what I know, Dunlap didnt even get to go to the Swamp. (?) Talk about a wake up call.

You are right about that. He was at the house for the Florida game.

I think our o line is coached well enough for it to not make that much of a difference IMO.

For some odd reason, this season reminds me of '05 when we started Tre Smith and got blown out by GT at home on opening day. Kenny Irons didn't get even touch the ball 'til about the 3rd game.
This year, Fannin didn't see the ball early, and Lester was missing in action.
But remember. In '05, Tuberville finally made the correct personnel adjustments and we ended up going 9-3.

-- AUBURN INJURIES: Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said Wednesday night that he didn't expect any of his injured players to return for Saturday's game at Arkansas.
Well they will need their rest for LSU! Hope the D is tough enough to handle ARK without them.
