This could get ugly. Tigers are feeling their oats once again after their early shakey start with losses to South Florida (which we now see is a pretty good team) and Mississippi State. Beating Florida at home is always a boost to ones confidence. And any SEC win is always good, something the Hogs aren't aware of this season.
We were really licking our chops at the chance to get Auburn at home a few shorts weeks ago, But after tonights win against a weak Tennessee Chattanoogia team in Little Rock, A game fans thought they would see 60 plus points on the Arkansas scoreboard, now we are once again in question.
If Nutt didn't hear the boo's from the Fayetteville crowds, he had to have heard them tonight in his home town. With that, it assured to me at least, Nutt is finish at Arkansas. The fact be known is. We have to accept the face that we aren't a good team in 07. That's a hard pill to swallow. With a runningback which was leading the race for the heisman at the start of the season, and a cast of other talented offensive players to go with him, to be at this point is very dissappointing to fans.
Jeff Long has tough task before him in his first year as new AD for Arkansas. Will he move the program forward, or will his hire be a bust like the 07 hogs. Bottom line swine fans is we have nothing to look forward to. Except that is, if McFadden can survive the season injury free and his way to the NFL draft as the number one over-all selection. Then his true skills can be witness.

Go Hogs

Go Hogs No T.D. don't let go of the rope yet# Nutt should pull this one out of his used up bag of tricks. He's playing the wounded duck routine again. History could repeat itself. Remember Vandy doesn't showcase the running game, but South Fla. & M.St. gave Aubie trouble. If Dick can have decent game with no turnovers, (IF) and D-Mac gets over fumbleitis, Monk and Johnson probally will return to keep Aubie somewhat honest in the box. Our secondary is showing growth. U might be suprised next weekend. But yet, I still don't have no idea how rest of season will pan out if we win. SEC is like a dam ferris wheel with L.S.U. on top of the ride. Fat lady is just warming her lips. Slim chance on secgwest game though. Nutt's rope could tighten and Hangman will start creepin' up the stairs also. Boobirds will be ready for a lynchin'. Fulmer pulled his fat out of the fire. Nutt has a way of gettin' his back off the wall every year with signature Victory. I still think he bolts after season on his on terms. JMO. Like u said ,SEC win makes thing better. Every team has ugly win once in awile. Hogs will be supercharged for this one and the weather will be nice on Saturday night in Fayetteville. Let me get this right, Hogs scored under 40 against TC last night in LR. But in fayettenam we will score 42 against a pretty good defense? redback with all due respect to a fellow swine, but this isn't 06 with us sneaking up on people. This is 07 and we're not a good football team.
Respect to Marcus Monk as well, but he will not be a factor this year. Marcus is experencing his first injury ever as a athlete. This is all new to him with this intensive rehab. IM afraid he willl not trust his ablity to make strong cuts needed to get open in this league. It may take several months for him to recover mentally from this injury.
Casey Dick went into this season not having to be great, just average. He has shown no improvment to reaching the next level. Play calling is still a D-, and defense is letting anyuone score on them. I think you are living in a story book world with your 42-38 fairytale, but I respect your right to make it.

i honestly think you can forget about those 2 games (at least i hope)
the team has improved and seemed to have found the right personel....but no matter what this will be a tough ass game...we could be undefeated and i would still be worried mcfadden or not....we have always seemed to struggle against Ark...they always play us tough and i never look forward to Ark

TD -

In a year when top 10 teams are falling like flies and 3/4 of the SEC already have 2 or more losses, I'll continue to think Arkansas can do some things this year. The Hogs are top 10 nationally in scoring offense, total offense and rushing offense. Casey Dick has improved, even if you can't tell it or don't want to believe it. His QB rating is currently better than Mat Flynn, Chris Nickson, Brandon Cox, and JP Wilson. Considering the recievers he works with, I don' think Dick is the problem with this team.

Arkansas' defense had one bad quarter against 'Bama and one bad quarter against Kentucky. Arkansas led in the fourth quarter of both those games, and while I'm as disappointed as any fan, I've seen the defense improve and I haven't seen any players quit. Before the season started, it was figured that Auburn would be a tough game. After their shaky start, it loked like a win. Now it loks like a tough game again, so we're right back where we started.

If USC can lose to Stanford at home, and Michigan can lose to Appy State in the Big House, I'll take a 19 point win over UTC by a disinterested Hog team. Bash 'em if you want, just don't come jump back on the bandwagon if they get on a role. Fair weather fans get old.

Thanks T.D. I should just give up, what about Auburn 42 No Good Swine 12
Thanks for putting things in perspective. We should just cancel the rest of SEC schedule and give A.D. more time to look for our next coach.
