Pretty much what I would expect. But I have to say, I'm a bit shocked that VA Tech is ranked ahead of South Carolina. Remind me again why this is?

Same W-L record.... but there was that LSU game that both teams have in common, and I'm pretty sure VA Tech got embarrassed while SCAR at least hung in there.

Cause we suck lol. No I think its probably because they maybe saw that we struggled against ULL and SCSU. By struggling, we put up the points but the games were flat out ugly to watch. Also they took into considertion that we give up like a billion yards rushing a game.

In my opinion, VA Tech should be ranked below us because we both play LSU at their place and both lost but USC was a little bit more competitve than VT. VT is vastly overrated.

Bingo. I think you have to determine who is better based on the common denominator, which is the LSU game. SC proved to be a better opponent. You are dead on about VA Tech being over rated. I think some voters are still giving them an "emotional" advantage.

While VT and South Carolina both played LSU, there were a few differences. LSU was playing without thier best WR, best O-Lineman, and the QB(Flynn) was playing at less than 100% and in a tropical sub-depression. I'm not taking away from South Carolina because I know they had injuries also, but the games were different.

We lost our best run defensive lineman and We played most of the game without our best player, period and looks like he is gone for the season. Injuries are part of the game. I don't really think it would have made much difference in the outcome if all the players on both sides were healthy.

Maybe not, but I was just pointing out that both games were different situations. While South Carolina is probably better than VT, they don't deserve to be ranked better simply because the lost by less points. They might deserve to be ranked better because they beat UGA though.

Va. Tech has not beaten a ranked opponent and they struggled mightily with ECU and Ohio. They probably should not even be ranked IMO.
