This just in from the NAUA (National Association of Upset Alerts) AP " A quiet calm has taken over the town of Athens Georgia. The Bulldogs are fresh off a road upset of a very good Bama team and all seems right with world. Georgia was worried about the season after the South Carolina loss, but things seem back to normal now. Coach Richt had this to say after the game " We are just badass; the SC loss was just a fluke, everyone and their grandmother knows that. Now we just need to focus on winning the Tennessee game on Oct.6th. I think we have a game between now and then, but we are just so badass I haven't thought much about them. One of those Mississippi schools I think." Conditions are elevating to a very dangerous level. Local news anchor Skip Mcpherson was available for comment. " We have been flashing the warning across the bottom of the screen on the nightly news, but most people do not seem to notice it since it comes on during our Badass Bulldog minute." All indications of upset conditions seem favorable for the area and Bulldog fans are encouraged to stay indoors.

I'm excited about the game. I wish I could go. Our doctor says that my wife could possibly have the baby at anytime and we shouldn't leave town. I've had some great times in Athens.

I'd call you crazy Rebel Chuck, but I've seen crazier things happen this season.

Well. we gotta play the game. I was just very inspired about how hungry the players sounded in the Grove after the game. I think we are a 3-1 team disguised as a 1-3 team. sneak attack:ph34r:

Well, good teams don't look past. Maybe we played y'all nose to nose. Ever consider that? Of course not. Look kid I'm not intrested in going back into the Florida game. If you want to talk about Georgia fine. I think we are going to show our full potential this Saturday. Our passing game will be there. If our running game can get back on its feet we will win this game.

I'm not too hyped up on the Ole Miss/Florida game. Ole Miss always plays Florida good in Oxford. I think this was just a matter of the Rebels being fired up, and Florida playing down to them. I could be wrong though. I think Ole Miss will march into Athens and get handled by the Dawgs. Georiga is more talented and better coached. I don't think there will be an upset. Who knows though, I've been wrong before.
I'm rooting for Ole Miss in this game ...

IF tebow hadnt set a UF record for rushing by a QB ya'll might have beat us
IF our young secondary hadnt made inexperienced decisions we would have beaten ya'll worse
IF caldwell was playin we woulda beat you worse
IF nelson wasnt sucha pansy we woulda beat you worse...
so you cant really use ifs cause you cant prove an if..but here is wat we can prove....ya'll cant stop the run to save your lives...UGA runs the ball damn well...ya'lls Qb did look good...no QB has looked good playin UGA this year..UGA has beaten quality opponents...ya'll have beaten who again?...UGA is coming off a great momentum boostin win over BAMA an ya'll are once again lickin the wounds from another loss...ya'll wont win this game...once again its great to have hopes an dreams jus try to make them more realistic

and as for IFS
IF we would pound the ball on 2 and 4 when we were in the redzone
IF we weren't on of the youngest teams in the SEC
IF Kendrick Lewis would've made that INT
IF Dustin Mouzon would've made that INT
IF Jonathan Cornell & Dexter McCluster played

wat i meant was UGA stable of HBs is better than ours....UGA will run it down ya'lls throats
for the first time in all 4 games we will not be spread out every damn play
I doubt anything down the middle will be very positive for UGA sir
if they are gonna run anywhere it'd be off tackle or tosses to knowshon
Peria, Tillman, and Hardy will eat up that freshman line..
I can and will argue that we have a better d-line then scar and bama..
no doubt about it.. it is just if the in-expierenced linebackers can play there gaps
this UGA team matches up alot better for us
those spread offenses early in the season with alot of in-expierenced players on defense killed us were are alot better than that 1-3 shows

Agreed. It will be nice to not play against the spread for once. The spread takes away our only strength on defense which is the Defensive line.

From what I've seen, the only freshmen that started for Ole Miss was Chris Strong at linebacker, while Florida started freshmen Maurkice Pouncey, Joe Haden, Jacques Rickerson, and A.J. Jones. So, don't pull that excuse card. Florida is a younger team than Ole Miss. Maybe the the youngest team in the SEC.

Agreed. It will be nice to not play against the spread for once. The spread takes away our only strength on defense which is the Defensive line.
I know it will be nice to see Chris Strong be able play down hill at linebacker
we will finally be able to put more than 5 in the box
I think our big offensive line will play like they are able and get some push against that small defensive line of georgias this game will be a good one
i'm sure coach kehoe will get in there ears quite a bit
Our defensive line will do very good against that freshman line of theres no doubt in my mind we will be getting very good pressure the question is if the linebackers can play there assignments I think they can against this offense.
our secondary has improved alot due to playing these spread offenses
the lack of speed with our linebackers is what concerns me but jamarca sanford will be in the box so I think we will be ok
knowshon moreno is a very good running back
I really do like this match up for us
georgia has a very athletic defense lacking a little size
stafford can be shaky at times but also great at times
obviously coach richt will have them very prepared for us
but if ole miss wants to win this they have to come out prepared and play to there potential, I think this a very winnable game because our strengths play to there weakness and seth adams is playig very confident football.
but it could very well be an ass kicking

Sometimes after a particularly stressful game, a team will have a let-down. They will have to guard against this. The Bama game, no doubt, left a satisfying taste in the mouths of the Dawgs, but it came at the expenditure of much emotion. This can be dangerous as they move into the next arena.

Well it is the only thing that we have been consistently good at. You've either got to stack the box and let Seth pass or you've got play the pass and let BJGE run. Most have opted to stack the box and Seth has had some fantastic games for us. Unfortunatly the Defense sucks, but your offense could play to their strengths. Either way this is a tall order for the Rebs; deep down we all know that, but this is a legitamate SEC team. 1-3 or not. I wouldn't call the "05 and '06 anything but Patrick Willis and some other guys, but this team is the first in a long time with a long list of good players playing well. It's just that most are on the O side of the ball. The defense will have to play inspired and force some turnovers.

It's like I said before the USC game, and to a lesser extent, the Bama game. It is all up to the Dawg players and coaches wheather they win or lose. Georgia has the better players. If the coaches have them ready to play, and the players come to play on Saturday, then the Dawgs will win. If not, then they just might lose. It's all in their hands. In the favor of Ole Miss is the fact that UGA is coming off an emotional win, but this only increases the chances that that they come out flat. Be that as it may, Georgia is the active agent here. What Ole Miss does is of no consequince to the outcome of the game if the Dawgs bring their A game.
I don't think the Dawgs cover the -16 fwiw.

i'm just curious as to how our defense stands against the uga offense.
seeing how we have been exploited by the spread early with little to no expierence at LB and CB on defense..
I think that our defense will match up way better against this offense
then any team that we have played so far..
can't wait i'll be making the trip
