Time to look long and hard with this teams leadership. Reports tonight from Fayetteville is, the players can't wait until tomorrow for practice so they can correct the problems this team faces.

Who the Hell is going to show them?

Offensive coordinator, David Lee has been less that spectacular. Reggie Herring is trying to work miracles with a untalented bunch of young guys. That's due to terrible recruiting. Nutt year in and year out bring more offensive players in than the great defensive guys Herring needs. And the leader of the gang is in a tail spin. Lurking the sidelines thinking the opponent is going to fail, so he can claim a victory. Attacking and finishing the game is something he has apparently forgotten from his past. Offensive line coach, Mike Markuson is the only coach on the sidelines that looks like he knows what's going on. Both at the Alabama and Kentucky game, he was working his arse off.
I really hate it for Peyton Hillis, cause he bought into the crap that The staff told him last spring. He was looking forward for his new role with the high energy offense of David Lee. And instead, they have forgotten about him during crucial moments of games loss.
Heisman hopes are falling fast for the best all round player ever to wear the Hog helmet. And several more that deserved much more from their coaches than they are receiving.
I wonder what new AD Jeff Long thinks of his football program? Time to get this program off it's dead asre and back to the winning ways. Jeff, that starts with you. Make your presents felt and put the pride back to Arkansas.

They sent the high energy offense packing to Tulsa, remember?

Cianne, I don't care what anyone says, we're missing Mitch and should have atleast gone after Kodi Burns with some enthusiasm.

I hope this team pulls it together, but I find some consolation in this disastrous early season that Nutt is done.

Burns, Jones, and McFadden running the 'ol Nebraska would have been a pretty sight. The Hogs are just really missing Marcus Monk right now. You could always count on McFadden and Jones to get ground yardage but Monk was the one guy that kept the 11th guy out of the box and gave a solid jump ball threat to Dick's erratic throws.

It's more than missing Marcus Monk. It's much deeper than that.
I post a thread a couple of weeks ago about Tuberviller was trying to save a redshirt for Kodi Burns and it may cost him his job. Will, the next week it put Burns in which proved he can in fact move the ball, even though they loss the game. Them same now can be said about Houston Nutt.
As Arkansas fans can tell you there are thousands of Nutt haters. IM not one of them. Although I think Houston isn't doing himself any favors this season with his decision making. For the last few years we as fans have seen our head coach show periods of stubbornness, being muleheaded. He stay much to lone a few years back with Robert Johnson, which never pan out as a QB. Now IM afraid he now is doing the same with Casey Dick.
IM surprise with Dicks play thus far this season. I really thought Casey would prove the critics wrong. But it's clear now that's not happening. We here in the state keep hearing the young brother, and freshman Nathan Dick is better at this point than his brother was at this age. Nathan is said to have a stronger arm and is taller than older brother Casey. It also reported that he's faster that Casey as well. So why not try him? Is it like Tuberviller, saving the redshirt. I think it's a case that we will soon see Nathan take his brothers place as the Hogs signal caller. Cause it's now clear. There are no guarantees that this staff is back in 08.

Why couldn't they at least throw Johnson back at QB to run option? At least the QB would be some threat versus just a turn-over waiting to happen. Yeah, he can't throw either but he can run. Heck, just run the Maryland I and the Wishbone.
