Burns started and threw a 58 yard TD pass.

NMSU runs a very bizzare offense, 5 wide all the time, kind of like what Air Force did to Tennessee last year.

I am listening to the AU game and checking on it on gametracker as well. Also watching the Georgia/Bama game and flipping to Ark/Ky...LOL

Because he's a freshman who's been with the team only a matter of months and no QB in the country would be ready for full time SEC play in that time.

But he's the guy scoring most of the points, and giving AU the spark they need. Plus, it's not full-time SEC play... you guys are playing NMSU.

That's beside the point, and just because he's scoring most of the points in limited play doesn't mean he's ready to handle every snap yet.

While I am happy we are winning right now...please don't get on a bandwagon just because of this good 2nd half! I am very proud of my team, but I don't see Auburn as having anything to brag about yet! I don't want to get the other fans on here starting in on us about how we thought we were awesome when we beat New Mexico State and then sucked the rest of the season! We still have all of our big games in front of us...we don't know yet what the future holds...hopefully AU wins, but who knows!! I just don't want to give anyone ammo when we have already given them the gun with our first two losses...LOL!!!

I know it's just New Mexico State, but I'm still glad to see our team went out and took care of business. Hopefully, this game is what the doctor ordered to get this offense going. Congrats to our Auburn Tigers! :thumpsup:
