moreno is impressive. i actually love this kid. he has all the moves but with an attitude. you dont see that much. definitely doesnt run with the attitude of a freshman. very good player.

on the other hand, im still torn about stafford. on one hand, he has all the tools to make him a successful qb at the college and nfl level, but he seems to have a bit of jamarcus russell in him. im not sure if he is the guy who loses you more games than he wins you or the guy who wins you more games than he loses you. he throws some pretty dumb passes at this point in his career(he also needs somebody other than the 7'2" white kid to drop passes) but you can see some brilliance in some of his passes(the slant to bailey for 33 was a laser). jamarcus had that knack for untimely turnovers in big games and it seems stafford needs to distance himself from these mistakes.

we shall see....but i still love moreno.

congrats, big win and im glad you beat bama. but, i have never said we have lost a game we have been leading and mostly dominating b/c the other team tied it up. if it had been a uf fan, i would of said the same thing. you were TIED, not losing, and getting the ball.

i have no patience for those fans.

btw, consider yourself lucky to have a weapon like coutu, even though he did miss. most sec teams, including uf would of never of gotten to attempt that kick.

If I remember correctly, when he said that the game was over and that UGA was going to lose, that was before the extra point was kicked and people were worried about Bama going for 2...which, since they did go into OT, it would have been true that UGA would have lost if Bama had gone for 2 and made it....

nobody ever goes for 2 in that situation unless they are a huge underdog....or nebraska against miami in the nc game.

regardless, i cant stand when people hide during the hard times and come out chanting in the good times. give me a big woooooof......my ass.

That was a great contest. Congrats to the Dawgs on gutting out a tough one on the road. That Moreno kid is an absolute stud and Stafford has clearly arrived.
It sucks losing a close one at home, but the Tide fought the tails off, especially considering the lack of depth on the d-line. Bama is definitely trending upward though.

Someone said it on the forum...about worrying about them going for 2...around the same time. That is where I got that from.

Also, in my opinion, when I say things like that, it isn't because I am down on my team...or a fair weather fan...it is more because I want to lessen the blow if we do lose...that way I can say...oh well, I was afraid that was going to happen...
