Congrats to LSU. Y'all are the class of the conference. Y'all gave us virtually no chances, and the ones we had we squandered (i.e. Emanual Cook dropping a pick 6). Good luck with the rest of the season. Y'all don't need much of it.

Ditto. I came onto the site to congratulate the LSU fans as well. Read a little of the LSU/SC Game Thread and decided that was not as good as place as here to post my congrats....too much pissing going on with what could have been (from both sides). I picked LSU to win the SEC this year before the season began, and nothing has changed my mind on that prediction.
Congrats LSU on the win.

Nice game USC. You guys played tough and never gave up. The Gamecocks will be a team to reckon with in the East and the SEC this year. I can assure you that no one else is looking forward to playing you guys. Good luck the rest of the season.

I was very impressed with South Carolina, as I expected that I would be. They play with everything, every play. They don't quit. And today, Smelly was your best QB. He was cool in the pocket, didn't panic, and made some fantastic throws. Spurs, as usual, coached very well. His competitive spirit was evident in this Gamecock team. Your RBs couldn't get untracked against our D line, but your passing game was downright scary. Your team earned my respect today.
Also, some of the South Carolina fans that I met were having a great time. We hailed down one group walking past our tailgate, invited them over, had a good time talking, and shared some good food and drink with them.
Despite the sporadic rain which fell hard just before the game and again at half time, it was a great day.

Congratulations on a good win. You are not only the elite team in the SEC but in the nation. I hate to make predictions but I don't see anyone beating you guys, especially if they plan to run the ball. I was very disappointed but the game kinda went like I thought. At least we covered the spread.

Congrats LSU! The talent on your team is unreal. We played awful, but that's what your team does to people. Some will point to this or that lost opportunity, but I'm convinced it wouldn't have mattered. It will be interesting to see how Florida can do against you guys.

Agreed! Congrats to LSU on the win. It was a hard fought game and they were obviously the better team. I knew yall had more talent, but what surprised me was that SC was also outcoached. Cant wait to see what you guys can do the rest of the season:thumpsup:

We were definitely outcoached. The scary thing is that Spurrier could have coached the best game of his career, and we still would have lost. That was the best defensive team I've ever seen Carolina play.

Definitely. Dorsey is a freak of nature! He made it look easy to hold off an O-Lineman with one arm and tackle Boyd with the other...and Boyd aint the easiest person to bring down.

No one likes losing, but I believe that Spurrier will be able to point out some positives. I don't know about there being 4 teams in the nation, but LSU is definitely 1 of the elite teams this year. Size, speed, strength, depth - they have it all.
The killer play was that fake field goal. Kudos to Miles on that one.
Congrats.

Congrats Tigers. We were simply out-manned. Good luck with the national title run.
Very classy posts guys. Thanks for the congrats and who knows maybe we see yall again in the ATL. I think both teams played hard on a very soggy field. Y'all def. have my respect.

SC played alot better than I though they would, especially through the air. I wish it hadnt been raining because both teams would have played much better.

Yeah...the game had a lot of hype and the players were super excited and the game would have been a 1000 times better to watch and for the players to play had it not rained.
