I filled this thing up three and a half times after read some of the post of the sore winners from Alabama. Not surprising at all. Fully expected it in the event the hogs lost. With the smack they talk and bragging about the new coach that will lead them to the promise land it's enough to make anyone hurl like Linda Blair in the Exorcist.

It's amazing that a team's fans can't be excited after wallowing in substandard CFB for as long as they have, finally find a coach they're optimistic about, and win a big game against the SECW champs of last year. Agreed...we got VERY lucky last year. Bama had a great win last night. My point is simply that they shouldn't beat down the Hogs when they were dominated by us in the second half.

I suppose there are 2 ways to look at it. I think the Hogs can do great things this year if we can shore up our secondary and put glue on the recievers hands. I also think Bama will do very well too, but still have some challenges at home and on the road. So either the Hogs and Bama are great teams that had a dogfight or we're both mediocre and will get slaughtered by LSU.

I'm not worried about Auburn anymore, but LSU and USC scare the hell out of me personally.

If the piglets dominated the last 3 quarters, then why was it 31-10 early in the 4th? You damn snouts run your mouth off all the time and then bitch after a loss like Rosie O'Donnell when she misses a buffet. You got beat, it's not the 1st time and it will not be the last. I was @ the game and it the fans of both sides got their money's worth. As for the blown calls, the refs were SEC quality as usual and that applies across the board.

But on our final drive I seen something. Once again the staff sent a offense on the field playing not to lose. At that moment I knew we had lost the game. By being aggressive and punching Alabama right in the mouth by taking a page from them, hit them at their strength, we wore out the defense. They tanks were running low. Then by thinking they would answer the bell late in the game was the blow that cost the hogs the game.
Alabama won the game. But if you have a honest bone in your body and know the game of football. You damn well know it wasn't due to your massive defense that you expected to capture the win. It was due to the fact that the Razorback stop attacking which they found the Tide's weakness. And being down four, Bama's offense had no other option that TOO attack, which they executed flawlessly.
What ifs, but if we, something was in our eye....these things can't be used in the SEC. I know this cause I've been around and have heard these excuses. I can look back at errors on both teams but if I put it in a post, IM making excuses or crying. IM not crying. The point I was simply making was Bama was sore winners. And the equals this. This is the SEC. Act like you've been there before if you want respect from the rest of the conference.

Paradox, go back to 3rd grade math. Take away the first quarter and the score is 38-20....maybe not dominating, but a beat down given your 'great' defensive unit. Again, it's a great win for you all and it figures you have to resort to Rosie O'donnell insults to make a point.

When down 21-0, I still had hope. Cause the offense had lots that they hadn't showed. The hogs made a come back, and still, they hadn't showed what they had been working on with a new look. But on our final drive I seen something. Once again the staff sent a offense on the field playing not to lose. At that moment I knew we had lost the game. By being aggressive and punching Alabama right in the mouth by taking a page from them, hit them at their strength, we wore out the defense. They tanks were running low. Then by thinking they would answer the bell late in the game was the blow that cost the hogs the game.
Alabama won the game. But if you have a honest bone in your body and know the game of football. You damn well know it wasn't due to your massive defense that you expected to capture the win. It was due to the fact that the Razorback stop attacking which they found the Tide's weakness. And being down four, Bama's offense had no other option that TOO attack, which they executed flawlessly.
What ifs, but if we, something was in our eye....these things can't be used in the SEC. I know this cause I've been around and have heard these excuses. And I would bet you would be wrong. Hogs play host the the conference top passing QB in Andre Woodson. It's hard to say how these guys will recover. young people are hard to read. The season is too young to have had a chance to know what thid team is thinking. I was way off the mark last week thinking with the week off Reggie Herring would have whipped these young lads into shape. While I've had two days to recover from the Pigs performance, I sorta agree with TD's feelings. Yeah, maybe we'll not be that bad off, but I can't stand stupidity. The Hog's defense and play calling in the first half were plain stupid.

I don't care if you do have D-Mac, you don't have to run up the middle every time a team puts 9 to 10 in the box. I actually like Dick's chances of completing a pass when it's one on one coverage. Or slip a tight-end pass the defenders of a 9-man front (like in the secod half). That's better than him throwing on 3rd and 9 or 15. That's why you had to punt after three plays half the time.

How many drives will arkansas DB's extend with pass interference this year? Arkansas has spotted at least 28 points in two games with that crap.
