I am working on a new layout and.... SIGNATURE SIZES

I am in the process of working on a new layout and hope to bring it live today or tommorow. There are some kinks to work out, but I am on it.

Anyhow, with this new layout, there will be a few pixels less for the thread width. With this I will NEED all the BIG OLD signatures that some have (some are over the current size rules anyhow)to be reduced. The new width limit will be 500 pixels.

I am sure you will notice too that I have added some advertising. I never planned to add ads, but the traffic is up and while my other sites totally support this site financially, I saw the need to let the site support itself.

In addition, I have added a photo gallery and a blog engine to the site too.

My sig is 550px wide and it isn't stretching the screen at all. Is that okay?

As long as users that use 1024x800 resolutions are not affected... I will have to do some testing.

I'm using 1024x768 and it's fine. Not sure about 800x600, I'll check it out.

Anything less than 1280x1024 or 1440x900 for widescreen users is blech.

Sorry 800x600 users... It's not optimized for you. There are so few out there...

I agree Cianne, but some still use 1024... over the last 5 years the majority has shifted from 1024 to 1280... but there is a good number at 1024 still. What are they thinking? :)
