View Full Version : I'm sick of it.

Well, after watching the most embarrassing and gut-wrenching experience I've seen since the Georgia game, I figured there are MANY different aspects of the team that we should blame. I think it all starts with the coaching, first and foremost. TT should have made the correct adjustments and done ANYTHING to score points. Can't he see that we are striving for points in a close, close game? It is his fault, as the leader of the team, that we only scored three damn points in the second half to an obvious inferior opponent.

(and don't give me that bullshit that USF is simply a better team than AU. No, they are not. They do NOT recruit the way Auburn does. No excuse for losing that game and I am furious)

The second aspect of the team that I blame for this is Brad Lester. He is our workhorse, and everyone is counting on him to produce yards (which we ALL know he can do) and first downs. He has made horrendous decisions though, therefore hurting his draft status + destroying the Auburn offensive gameplan.

Not running the ball well + Auburn's playbook = 100% FAILURE

I am just getting all of my hostility out here (don't mind me, I'm still pissed) because I went to another site and spilled my guts like I am now, and got nothing but criticism and complete disapproval from "most" of the Auburn fanbase. I think the problem was that it was a national board and they were defending their "e-reputation" and trying to look "good" instead of being an Auburn Tiger. I feel as if I fit in more in the SEC board. Anyway...!

It's sad that a selected few people think that Lester would have been jammed up the middle like Tate was, and wouldn't totally change the outcome of the game. Allow me to elaborate:

1) Lester hits the hole at 100 mph.
1) Tate is fat and slow.
2) Lester can run east and west when the middle is jammed with LBs.
2) Tate runs east and west on every single play, and is too slow to make something happen.
3) Lester is better than Kenny Irons.
3) Tate is better than Tre Smith.
4) Lester completes the running game and fits perfectly into the AU scheme.
4) Tate puts our human punching bag QB in third and long situations with a young O-line.
5) Fannin will be great in the future, but he better achieve greatness soon, or we will lose 6 games.

Ok, finally down the last person I blame for AU's lack in production. It comes to no surprise, and most of the AU nation can probably agree with me (except for the Tuberville clones, you know who you are) Brandon Cox.

He is absolutely terrible and makes the worst decisions ANY quarterback in the nation would make. Not to mention he is a senior and the oldest player on the AU roster. He is too slow and immobile to be the starting QB for a running team who has a weak running game and a young O-line. That, my friend, is an absolute recipe for DISASTER. Hardheaded Auburn coaches need to get it through their f*cking head:

As long as Cox is the starter, and Lester is out, WE. WILL. LOSE.

Is it really that difficult to fathom? I mean, why am I seeing delusional nightmares of the LSU and Florida defensive lineman dominating us? Maybe because it is to come if the coaches do not make changes? Yes.

I am not the damn coach, therefore I don't know what exactly they should do. But I do know this... I would be trying everything POSSIBLE to score points (and stick with it). It should be obvious by now that this scheme and gameplan just isn't working anymore. And quite frankly, hasn't worked for as long as I remember.

Bottom line is... Come Saturday, Cox is still throwing atrocious INTs and the coaches leave him in, I will lose absolute respect for Tuberville and promote his firing. I also loathe Muschamp, but will not get into that right now because we have QG. And as long as we have Groves on the team, we will be ok in that area. It is just totally inexcusable because we recruit better than anyone in the country and should NOT lose to inferior opponents.

I could go on forever, but I have a feeling you already know that.
