For the 4th straight year, the escalator on the East side has broken down when patrons were going up for Game 1. It amazes me that the Mall of Louisiana can run escalators 7 days a week and LSU can't run them 7 times a year!
There were no real contingency plans, and herds of people in the thousands jammed the walk-up ramp because Tiger officials, displaying grandiose stupidity, wouldn't open the three or four stairways leading up. People were hot!
We witnessed one helluva fight between two grown dudes over who knows what (both LSU fans). They were getting into it big time until people in the crowd finally broke them up.
