Check out ESPN's homepage. Even at 0-2, the network won't get off their knees.

I hope that was sarcasm. (although truthfully, I don't HATE them. It's just fun to see them lose.)

My bad, everyone. The site apparently got hacked or something. I hope some of you got to see it. Pretty funny stuff.

The difference is So Cal actually does something on the field to gain respect.

SoCal is the undisputed darling of ESPN. Ofcourse ND runs a close second. I was certainly teasing when I said don't we all love ND. I have respect for their tradition, but I am not an Irish fan, by any means!

A couple weeks ago, when one of the USC players said that the Trojans were "america's team" I laughed so hard I just about pissed my pants. ESPN is always hyping up them every year its ridiculous. Yes, they are a good team but they are nothing special and they are certainly not the world beaters that ESPN makes them out to be. Notre Dame is probably the most popular team in the nation simply because of their catholic affilitation. As much as I dislike like ND, they are the most historic, have the most tradition, most legendary, and one of the most winningest programs ever. Ever see the movie "Rudy"? I get chills watching that movie and that is seriously what it is like walking onto their campus. It is so beautiful, and feels like a holy place second only to Vatican City. I have been there twice for games and they have really nice, passionate fans. Probably some of the nicest around.
