Bama will dominate this game offensively, Terry will run all day with that weak arky D. I see bama really putting up some points b/c being that this is the pigs 1st real game, they are going to make many misstakes. JP has to get in sync tho. If he fails to get on track, it could be a close one. On the other hand, I have to give the pigs credit on there running, but with our defensive minded coach, he'll find a way to stop that quick, fast, and in a hurry. Arky has no proven QB, so u can take that option out of the gm. With the pigs stable of runningbacks, it ought to be hard to stop. But bama will do it, our D is going to step up and hold them off. Bama wins 38-17

Arkansas' strengths on offense match up with our weakness on defense. Our front 7 is thin and small. Arkansas WILL be able to run on us, its just a matter of how much. If we can force some turnovers and control the ball on offense we have a chance to win, but we will not be able to completely shut down the Arkansas running game.

We have to score points early and often, if we make Arky play from behind we gain the advantage with our secondary and their subpar passing game.

I think that you have to give Saban and staff credit to executing their game plans to near perfection, eliminating the two stars on Vandy's team and coming up with enough points to secure a comfortable victory. This is the most competent coaching staff, the most disciplined and physical team that Alabama has fielded since the 90's. I don't know what tricks Saban has up his sleve (that's the beauty of it), but I trust that he won't loose to a predominantly one dimensional team, even if they bring back Barry Sanders!!

I believe we are favored because of home-field advantage. If I remember correctly we are a -2.5 which really means Bama is a .5 dog with 3 points for home-field advantage.

Yea but I havent talked about Chris and Earl geeting hurt on here. That guy is just mad a somebody or something b/c hes bringing up stuff that is on a different forum. And I had a good arguement that went with my claim, if ur injured, u cant play, if ur hurt, then u can still play. Chris and Earl were hurt, meaning they could of played but vandy found out that they werent going to win so they took them out so they wouldnt get injured were they could be out for a couple of weeks. Regarding Tiffen versus arky last year.. that was 3 field goals and the pat during overtime.. any of those would of won us the game in the end but it didn't ark put the pressure on during a game where bama was in enemy territory. This time Tiffen is home at Bryant-Denny Stadium where he will be more familiar. I'm sure he has been lectured enough on the subject. End result both teams have bettered greatly in the past year. With Arkansas at the number 16 slot this will be Alabama's chance to take back their last years mistakes and show those hogs that Bama has the bigger tusks.

Have you actually looked at Arkys DL? What's so impressive? Their LBs? They're starting a RS Frosh there from Athens, Al. that couldn't field another D-1 scholarship. B/U at DE is Ambrose, a true Frosh from Mobile who was another Bama reject. Starting WR London Crawford from Alabama, another Bama reject. Looking at most of their players and who else they received scholarship offers from, not real impressive. Nutt does a good job geting the most out of them. But, they lost too much last year. And to hear an Arky fan ask who we've played when the only team they've played is a weak Troy team that they led 23-17 at the Half and UF led 49-7 at the half, is quite franklt laughable. Do they remember playing Vandy last year in Nashville? They were very lucky to win that game.
