I owe some apologies after this week's games...

Gamecocks: I completely blew it in thinking that UGA would beat you and that Stafford would light it up. I should know better than to doubt what Spurrier is capable of. Your defense was dominating and you look like you can beat Florida (again) and win the East. Congratulations to the
University of South Carolina on a great game and a great win! I apologize again for being so wrong.

Alabama: I also misjudged the ability of the Tide
to go on the road and put a whipping on Vandy. The Tide looked really good and balanced, and Grant is definitely the new RB for the Bammers. Too, I should know that Saban is not going to lose games to people like Vanderbilt. Congratulations on a convincing win. I apologize for such a bad prediction.

Bama didn't play that great, JPW had an off day. Still, winning on the road in the SEC is always good. I thought Spurrier was sandbagging.

Thanks Geaux, I'm ready to see what the Cocks look like against the best team in the country in a couple weeks.

No need to apologize. Predictions are fun. Everyone has their own opinion of how the games will play out. It's all part of the enthusiasm of college football, though. After speculating and breaking things down all week long, finally, on a warm Saturday afternoon, the players hit the field and we get to find out for sure. With the great parity in this conference, it's never easy to prognosticate.

I'm pretty sure the Cocks are aware that looking like you can beat Florida and actually doing it are two different things. And I'm not quite sure how the again fits into that statement.

That said, congrats to the Cocks on a big win, and I expect a great game on November 10th.

I was under the impression that USC had beaten Florida since Darth Visor has been there.

Okay, it sounded like you meant consecutively. No worries.

Then you'll feel good this week because I think Arkansas is going to plow up Loosalotska with their running game. But, they better be able to pass some and have some defense, or the Nickster will eat 'em up on defense and your newfound running game.

Gobble, gobble, I love seing heisman hopefuls getting tackled in Bryant Denny. If I were Houston Nutt, after seeing what happened to Bennet and Nickson I would bench Jones and McFadden. Bama's Defense is the most physical I have seen in years. Offensive players go out limping on a regular basis. Alabama aint Troy, and Bryant Denny ain't Fayettville!! The stadium will likely be the loudest that it's been in years, possibly ever. I'm bringing ear plugs.

Yeah, that's easy to understand. Such rarities are appreciated.
