Alabama: I also misjudged the ability of the Tide
to go on the road and put a whipping on Vandy. The Tide looked really good and balanced, and Grant is definitely the new RB for the Bammers. Too, I should know that Saban is not going to lose games to people like Vanderbilt. Congratulations on a convincing win. I apologize for such a bad prediction.

After speculating and breaking things down all week long, finally, on a warm Saturday afternoon, the players hit the field and we get to find out for sure. Gobble, gobble, I love seing heisman hopefuls getting tackled in Bryant Denny. If I were Houston Nutt, after seeing what happened to Bennet and Nickson I would bench Jones and McFadden. Bama's Defense is the most physical I have seen in years. Offensive players go out limping on a regular basis. Alabama aint Troy, and Bryant Denny ain't Fayettville!!
