Who thinks it can happen?
Kentucky is a much better team than Middle Tennessee State, but they will have to play really well on defense to come out on top. I see this as being a really high scoring game if Kentucky can score consistently.
Should be a good game and I hope UK can pull it out :D.

UL is gonna be in for a rough week of practice. But I think it'll be enough to get them back in shape, and the top 15 team that they are will come to play Saturday.

Ah, c'mon Sep...you want UK to win don't you? You just don't want to hear Puddin' talkin' UK smack, right?
You're right, though. Rest assured we will see a different Louisville team come Sept. 15......defensively speaking. The offense will be it's usual machine-like self.

I think we have a pretty fair shot, all in all. I'd say 50/50. It'll be a slugfest for sure! We must find a way to rattle Brohm, though. If he's allowed time, he can pick apart anybody, much less the suspect UK D. Having Urrutia and Douglas to throw to, plus two good tight ends, makes his job even easier.

I've said UK will win but still not go to a bowl.
Also, this is not an upset if they win. An upset is a team who has no shot winning. UK just needs to trade punches via offense and get 3 stops on Brohm.
I think UK and UL were looking ahead to this game whilst playing their respective games yesterday and thursday. Louisville will be a monster come saturday...make no mistake about it.

This one could end up 70-63 if they both play the "tackling is optional" defense they seem to prefer.

There are some teams that are for real and there are some that are not. The preseason rankings have everyone thinking crazy things when in reality they are just the next team on KY's schedule.
Oklahoma, LSU, Rutgers...are for real.
Who's not, well let me just say I think Kentucky has an even shot at this one.

UK has more than a shot... I think they'll have as good a chance of winning as UL. If UL brings that same pathetic defense to the game, and UK can score like they have been, they'll put 50 or 60 points on UL. What we don't know is how many UL will put up with their great offense. It's looking like a shootout in the making. UL has shown that their D makes them one of the top overrated teams in the nation.

PLEEAASE! Kentucky beat Louisville. All the Cards can do is outscore people. So they basically hold a high spot in the polls and get spanked by a real team should they ever play one.

Kentucky definatly has a shot. Both of these teams are offensive minded teams, that are pass happy. Both teams hold a big question on defense as well. This should be a very high scoring game, and may come down to who has the ball last.

Losing your starting tackle and his backup kill a team like us, as depth is still a problem....especially on defense for us. I'm very confident in our offense both running and passing, but the defense scares the crap out of me.
I pray we represent the SEC well in this game and not allow UL to blow us out.

I wouldn't define that as an upset. Obviously the team couldn't have won if they "have no shot" at winning.
An upset is when a lower ranked team or a worse team beats a better team or favorite.

I def. think they have a shot. I can't quite predict a win at this point, but I can tell you that if Brohm's offense has to punt 2 times or more, the cats will win. woodson's offense will carve that cardinal D up.

I think Brohm might be too much for UK's secondary.... although, if they slow him down they might be able to outscore UL late in the game.

This is going to be a really fun game to watch! I am expecting something really explosive, and it could go either way. I think UK has a great chance of winning.

As a UK fan, I have two main worries about this game:
1) Much like USC / UGA last week, everyone was down on USC and said that they had no chance b/c of their poor performance in week 1. LIkewise, everyone was praising UGA after their demolition of Ok St. You see what happened. I worry that everyone is down on Louisville's D after they looked pathetic last week, and then they will come into Lexington looking like the second coming of LSU.
2) We lost two of our top 2 defensive linemen to injury last night, one of our thinnest positions on the field. IN order to win, we need to get in Brohm's face so this is not good news for us.
With that said, I will be there waiting to witness a victory. Thanks for all of your support.
