Here is how I believe the AP Poll will look this week:
1. LSU
2. USC
3. Florida
4. Oklahoma
5. West Virginia
6. Texas
7. Wisconsin
8. Louisville
9. California
10. Ohio State
11. UCLA
12. Penn State
13. Nebraska
14. Rutgers
15. Arkansas
16. Georgia Tech
17. Virginia Tech
18. Tennessee
19. Georgia
20. Texas A&M
21. Hawaii
22. Clemson
23. Boston College
24. Oregon
25. South Carolina
Just outside:USF, Auburn, Missouri, TCU
Notes:
*LSU and USC could go either way depending on how strong they feel from LSU's performance
*Spots 3-5 can go in pretty much any order. WVU the 3 played the weakest game against probably the weakest opponent. Florida played decent against the medium opponent and Oklahoma played amazing against the best opponent. Oklahoma may pass Florida or WVU or both. I think the formats could be:
WVU, FL, OU - If they don't want to change the order
WVU, OU, FL - If they don't think OU or Florida should pass WVU but OU should pass FL
OU, FL, WVU - If they go over the performances from the past 2 weeks
FL, OU, WVU - If they don't think OU has done enough to pass FL but both teams have done enough to pass WVU
* I have no idea how far Virginia Tech will fall. They might get kicked totally out, but they did lose to one of the best teams in the country.
* I am not sure how the bottom of the poll will turn out. How many teams who had upsets will get onto the poll and how many who got upset will stay on.

Take out USF and put Georgia in there somewhere, I don't think they drop off.

No way UGA falls from 11 to out of the top 25. That's crazy. They'll probably still be in the top 20.
USC will still be number one, but LSU will be closer than they were, IMO.

I don't know, owning Va. Tech like that really made me re-think how good LSU is, I could see them being no.1 until USC makes a big showing against a ranked opponent.
I think UGA falls to around 19....20

I think LSU should be number one as well, but I'm thinking like the voters will think and the voters love USC.

Again, I have no idea how the bottom of the poll will turn out. USF got some votes last week (27) and then they beat a ranked team. I think that will put them over the top and into the poll. Georgia/Missouri have a chane of getting ranked and probably will have the most votes of the non-ranked teams if they aren't ranked.
Georgia actually does have a good shot at staying in the poll. They only lost by a little to a very talented team. I just am not sure how polls will treat the 1-1 team when there are some good 2-0 teams out there who upset some ranked teams.

Teams just don't drop 14 spots like that. Don't let Michigan fool you. They lost to a Division 1AA team, and that's why they dropped so much. USC is a good football team, and a conference rival. UGA won't drop more than 5 or 6 spots after losing to them.

Don't you think So. Carolina gets the nod before USF, for beating a team ranked higher in a somewhat better outing, given that UGA stays in the polls and Auburn definitely drops out. I don't see Auburn staying ranked.
GatorChomp

Edited.
I agree that Auburn definitely drops out. I think they will only be a few spots out though. South Carolina definitely will get in over USF.

From Lee Corso and Kurt Herbstreich it looks like Oklahoma will pass WVU and Florida. I think it is very possible. I hope not though.
Corso said that Oklahoma in beating Florida beat the best team that any of the top teams have. Ummm....genius you're at a game between 2 top 10 teams. and one got creamed. Same as Miami. What bias

OU will be at 3. The media is creaming themselves over their win. And teh voters wont like UF giving up so many points.

I think you are right.
We will possibly be at 5 behind WVU. If we win next week we will probably go to at least 4 regardless

And they should. Florida hasn't beaten anyone yet, and Oklahoma is damned impressive.

We learned a lot about these teams this week:
5. West Virginia
6. Texas
7. Wisconsin
8. Louisville
9. California
10. Ohio State
13. Nebraska
Saddly, at least two of those teams will probably go undefeated. I just hope Cali can knock off USC, Nebraska beats Texas, Texas beats OU. The loser of the Louisville/WVU game loses to Cinci/Rutgers/USF. Penn State beats OSU, and OSU beats Wisconsin.
USF shouldn't receive a vote. That was an ugly mess. Unless they take out Hawaii or A&M who really shouldn't be in (sorta like Auburn shouldn't have).

I agree.
That is the same type deal I am hoping for. I am also hoping on the off chance Nebraska can beat USC next weekend. It is in Lincoln so who knows. I think Michigan might possibly be able ot play spoiler with the Big Ten if they get things in gear at all.

Sadly, Georgia will still be ranked ahead of SC, if SC is ranked at all. They're not gonna push Tennessee out this week either (though they should. But they should definately be in over South Fla, and And I think a few other teams. I just hope they get ranked

There is no way the Cocks will be ranked ahead of UGA. UGA started at number 11, and I don't see any way of them dropping passed the 20 spot. South Carolina will be lucky to get 23 or 24.

The four other teams I chose were in the next 7.
I think I did well. As I said, I wasn't sure if LSU would pass USC. They did get very close though falling 12 points short of it. Then the next three I got right (with one of my posts i said I think it will go OU, WVU, Florida). 6,7,10,11 and 12 were spot on so that is 20% of it totally correct. Then all of mine up to 17 were 1 off (considering my edits of 3-5) these were mainly just switching a few teams. Louisville/Cal, Rutgers/Nebraska, GT,Arkansas and VT was just off.
As I said, I didn't have an idea of how the end would turn out. I was dead wrong about South Carolina. I am surprised they went up so high. Same with Oregon I didn't think them beating Michigan would really put them them too high considering how bad Michigan has been.

Given the way Auburn is playing right now, the winner of this game will stake an unofficial claim to the no.2 spot in the SEC west. Rankings seem to be overrated right now, but for what it's worth, Arkansas is the 3rd highest ranked team in the SEC behind LSU and Florida.
