The upsets, a lot of top 25 teams playing like crap. Who do you think will make it and who do you think will drop?

I think Tennessee will move up with Boise St. losing, and the Auburn loss may possibly affect our ranking as well. It's a good night to be a Vol!

The whole day i havfe been thinking this.
I believe there are only a few teams that really stick out as teams with great chances at the national championship team. After those teams there is a huge gap. In other words we have a few Top 5 worthy teams and then after then nobody really deserves a top 10.
Here is what I think.
Really good teams with a great shot at going to the NC:
LSU
USC
Oklahoma
Good teams with a chance:
Florida
Texas
------
Power Gap
------
Teams with an outside chance:
Wisconsin
West Virginia
California
Louisville
UCLA
------
Power Gap
------
Pretty Good Teams:
Penn State
Nebraska
Ohio State
Arkansas
Rutgers
--------
Georgia Tech
Tennessee
Clemson
Texas A&M
Boston College
Oregon
South Carolina
Hawaii
Auburn

After week 3 the SEC will start to take shape.... either Bama or Arkansas will stake a claim to the no.2 spot in the West with Auburn being the wildcard. I don't see Auburn beating Arkansas or Alabama this year unless they make SERIOUS changes.... I mean like they bring in a quantum mechanics professor to build a time machine so they can go back and learn how to hold on to the football and well, score touchdowns....
Arkansas will move up by default.... Auburn will drop out, Boise St. will drop out, Tennessee will move up and S. Carolina will be ranked along with either Oregon or Washington.

Just forgot about you. I was going pretty much down last weeks poll and making changes. I skipped yall since you lost and never put you in a place.
I am not sure about Georgia. Last week they played amazing and this week not so much. They didn't play horrible, but I don't know how they will turn out this year. I think they are better than Auburn and not sure how they are relative to Tennessee.

If USF moves in they won't enter at 22. I can see Mizzou entering the polls this week too. Sounds reasonable overall.
I doubt the pollsters will get Pete Carroll's nuts out of their mouths long enough to take a gander at LSU's dominance this weekend to vote the Tigers 1.

I don't think so; we still have a lot to prove.
Va Tech is clearly the 2nd most overrated team behind Michigan. They should tumble out of the top 25 like UM did. (They looked like MSU for God's sake.)
Oklahoma looked great. I think they should be in the top 2 (USC should drop to 3 -- they didn't play.)
UF is about right; they looked real, real good.

You're right, I forget about the spanking the Sooners put on the Canes. Even if Miami's team is sub-par these days it still was an impressive win against a household name. My personal top 3 should be LSU, USC, Oky
