Sorry, boys. Cox just isn't a very good QB. He's smart and he's tough, but without an arm and good legs, he is severely hampered as a QB in the SEC.

Well he's no JaMarcus Russell by any stretch but if the o-line can tighten up and the defense can get healthy, he wont need to be superman.

If it does linger and Tubbs is willing to pull the trigger on a backup it could be the best thing to happen to Auburn all year. Then again, the fact that Auburn has ridden this lame horse so far may be telling when it comes to who is backing him up. I know you don't want to "waste" a year of eligibility on Burns with that O-line, but sooner or later you may have to.
