What will Matthew Stafford's passing be like against the Gamecocks?

Your probably going to be proven right about this. This will be smash mouth football at it's finest. Last years Dawg's 19-0 rout isn't the norm in this yearly clash. It would be nice if it was though.

I think Stafford will pass for over 200 yards, but only throws for 1 TD. This game will be a low-scoring, defense-dominated game. I picked the second item in the poll, but that's not exactly correct, either. Stafford should have 200+ yards - not in the high 200's...more like he did against Okie-St. (less than 250)....

I think Stafford will pass for over 150. This will be his true test.

My prediction: UGA, 27- SCAR, 16

lol might not be his true test if our defense played like it did last week. but I agree with you he will throw for over 150 around 215 with a TD.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the game...it'll be my first game in Athens. I hope South Carolina can finally pull off a win. This is a HUGE game for our program and for Spurrier. THis will be Spurrier's test to truly see how far he's taken our program.

I hate to say it but UGA will roll over us if we play like we did Sat.. Hope to see improvements or it will be an ugly year.

After last week it will be good test for our team. I think they know the importance of this game. Blake will be back for us, I doubt very seriously if Cook will play. It takes a couple of weeks to get over the appendictomy. He is our best corner. I think Stafford will throw for 150 yards or so and be picked off 1 or 2 times. We usually have a good pass defense. The question will be can we stop the run. That will be the key.

Make that two RB's. Lumpkin is out with a broken thumb. And with Moreno's performance, I seriously doubt they play Caleb King this year.

Moreno's play made me forget about Caleb King.

The Dawgs were hitting on all cylinders against Okie St. Hopefully they will struggle this Sat.

Should be a good game. I fully expect that Carolina comes to play. Last week was a walkthrough practice/scrimmage game for them. This is the game they've been waiting on. Low scoring is the norm and I expect the same this week. I say 17-13 UGA. Good luck to both teams. I'll be there cheering on the Dawgs!!!!

Last year wasn't a rout. It was 18-0, yes. However, USC was inside the 5 yard line twice. It's not like USC didn't make any headway against the UGA defense.

But, nonetheless, it was 18-0. So call it as you see it.

(I enjoyed the trip to Athens last night anyway.)
