A poll of 42 college football coaches has found some consensus — the Pac-10 Conference
has the worst referees.
The poll, conducted by the Seattle Times, surveyed coaches, including Bob Stoops of Oklahoma.
The Pac-10 was the top vote-getter for conference with the ‘most incompetent officiating.' The Big Ten was voted the best.
Pac-10 officials, of course, were at the heart of Oklahoma's disputed loss to Oregon last season.

This does give me a little worry as well. I really hope the refs don't end up playing a factor Saturday night.

I know thats not exactly a secret, but it came from Oklahoma newspaper site. I guess they're still bitter with what happen in the game against Oregon.

Do you blame them?
If Tennessee loses to Cal b/c of bogus officiating and then goes on an 11 game tear and misses out of the NC game I know I'd want blood.
Not to say that I wouldn't want blood anyways...longshore...longshore...longshore

No, I don't blame them for being bitter after that game, but the Pac-10 admitted the officials made mistakes in that game. OU and their fans need to let this go!

It was worse during the season, when OU fans acted as if they NCAA should delcare a mulligan and allow OU a do-over.

They should be allowed to call NCAA headquarters (where NCAA should be watching all games) and confirm difficult calls. Just like the NHL does i.e. Toronto (the war room.)

In all games when a team loses the team, coaches, and fans will say O it was the refs fault. You know. so, if you guys play your game then you should be fine.
