For the past few days I have been studying our upcomming opponent and looking at unit vs. unit matchups. As you know K-State has , at times, an explosive offense . Their 7 wins were by an average of nearly 20 points. They have a huge QB (6-6 240) that started as a true freshman. He started with an 0-8 td/int ratio, but improved as the year went on. He is the man that makes the offense go. If we pressure him they will collapse. They have a 5-11 200 back in james johnson who is durable but nothing too fancy.

They switch to the 3-4 this year and have a great OLB in Ian Campbell. Campbell was an all BigXII selection last year. Their defense was great at pressuring the QB last year. We will need to protect Brandon or these guys will eat him up. Their secondary is undersized led by safety Marcus Watts 6-1 189. We can beat this defense but our line needs to play well for that to happen.

We can beat this team, we can blow them out even. They are also good enough to beat us if we play like we did against Arky and Georgia.

If we play good we win, if we play great we win BIG. If we struggle we start the season 0-1 and South Florida isn't looking any easier.....

LETS GO!!!!!!

The only thing that worries me is their D-Line. Other than that, we should run away with this game by the 3rd quarter.

It is currently 7:20 left in the 3rd.
Auburn-6
K State-13

About 3 mins ago I was sitting and watching the game and I had to ask myself. "What the hell are we doing?"

Our offense is young and has alot of new blood and I really couldnt expect us to be shutting them out, however our defense and offense is at the point of aggravation.

To win this we are going to have to find our groove and we have to at least somewhat learn how to stop K-State's. So far I am disappointed in how our opener is turning out and how our team is playing.

I can only hope we can walk away from this game, win or lose, and fix what is wrong, improve what is right, and then go out and make ourselves a contender for the SEC championship.

Our Senior QB is making mistakes only true freshmen make. Explain that one. WTH!:brick: How about looking around instead of locking in to one freaking guy. 2 pics, (nearly 3) and 4 sacks in the first half? Not good.

field goal. 9-13 K-State 3rd.

Now Cox...the star of our offense has a hurt shoulder. I pray it isnt bad.

I'm worked up and I better get off before I start posting a play by play on here.

Thank goodness we were finally able to show our colors and rap up the game. It was an ugly win but its still a win.

We just have to fix what was wrong and prepare for the SEC opponents
