Yeah I know, the hogs have one of the most exciting players in the nation in Darren McFadden. And lots of so-called experts say the Razorbacks has a cup cake schedule. But the more I research Troy's team the more sleepless nights i spend. The lastest Omar Hughabook, Troy's QB has been added to the Watch List for Walter Camp award. This award honors the best player in college football.
With Arkansas replacing several defensive players I wonder how these young puppy's will answer the call. IM not saying Troy will slaughter the hogs on Sept. 1st. But it wouldn't surprise me one bit for the Razorbacks to recieve a major wake up call.
Possiblity look for a high scoring game in Fayetteville. 49-35 Hogs. With this near miss. I feel they will find themselves and be fine. Just go out and play. Hughabook may be the best QB this new Defense will see this season. The guy is for real.

Don't say that TD. You'll have other Hog fans come down on you like they came down on Smithian when he said the Troy game scared him due to Monk going down.

I think this will be a very good game. I'm glad that Troy is going to be a tough opponent. I think it will better prepare us for Alabama two weeks later.
I don't think it will be that high scoring since we won't throw the football if the game is remotely close. Nutt's a**hole will get so tight he'll be sitting on a bucket of vasoline.

This game will not be close. Troy's QB will give the defense some fits with his ability to scramble and make plays, but by the second half Arkansas's talent overcomes Troy. They'll win by 3 touchdowns.

If we're at the point of worrying about beating a team from the Sunbelt then some house cleaning is way past due.

Maybe it will be close, I have no way of knowing for sure, but it shouldnt be.

The Hogs should win this one going away.

Troy is tough, I respect them. I still think Arkansas will win.

I think Troy's offense will have some wow moments, but I can't see their defense doing enough to keep Arkansas close. Probably will be one of those 35-17 affairs.

At the same time, how will Arkansas' defense do with no Anderson, Houston, Olajabutu, or now Harrison?

Well I didn't elaborate, but essentially I was considering the fall-off in the Arkansas defense and o-line. If we had the same defense and offensive line as last year I would have said 56-10.

Arkansas will win because of mismatches with Troy's defense and Troy's undersized OL. Troy likes to run a 4-2-5 defense because most of their talent is in the secondary. Arkansas doesn't have to throw the ball 1 time to win this ball game. Of course, that is crazy talk, they will throw the ball quite a bit in the second half. At least they should, but I expect, because of Troy's mobile QB and Monk's injury, the game will be close in the first quarter, maybe even the entire first half, but expect Arkansas to pull away in the third, and work on the passing game and second string defense in the 4th.

45-17.

Maybe 17-14 Arkansas at the half.

See ramp, your evil mojo has no effect on me....

you guys do know Demarcus Ware w/the Cowboys played for Troy.......point being you gotta always watch for Troy's DE's, they tend to always have star players there................as they do this year and one at LB..........study about 'em, you might get even more concerned

Troy beat Missouri w/Brad Smith, had Florida State beat w/two minutes left in the game, played Georgia tight

Look the truck out

Troy will score and a couple mistakes on our part. I'm always bumrushed for stating realism.

While I don't think scare is the appropriate term, to think that this will be like the rest of our non-conference opponents is silly. Troy should not be taken lightly.

Hope this isn't the kiss of death, But you think this is the year we finally beat a Trojan in our opener for a change?

Yes, and I say that with the utmost confidence. Troy will NOT beat Arkansas this year.
