I suppose he has looked at the schedule and knows he must face Carolina's defence the second game and knows he will have at least one QB knocked out of the game.

I may not be recollecting this correctly, but I seem to recall reading elsewhere recently where the coaches are installing a "Two-Interception" rule for Stafford this season:

Two INT's a game is the limit. But if Stafford throws a 3rd INT in any game, Cox will be brought in to finish.....

"He'll play in every game, more than likely."

now that i think about it...it really doesnt bother me...see if he puts him in every now and then, it could help us out if stafford ever went down with injury. we will have a backup who has played more then just a few snaps that actually mean something

See DJ Shockley.

exactly..when he started as a senior he didnt miss a beat. the exp he gained from gettin PT the previous seasons definatly helped him. also it gives the coaches things to work with Cox on in practice and in film. cuz u kno u really never kno till there actually on the field. lets also not forget joe cox was pretty highly ranked coming out of hs...i think he went to the elite 11 camp. its not like richt is stickin some scrub in there. he must have alot of faith in cox...notice he never felt comfortable enuf with JT3 to stick him in every now and then during the '05 season

I think it is just gay bashing toward Matt "Spooner" Stafford and it should not be tolerated!!!

Wait a minute, that was Joe Joe with him, bring on the 3rd string.
