stafford...not much to say about him really. everyone else already has. i think he is gonna be great. the only thing that bothers me is in the spring game he looked a little unsure from time to time on how hard he needed to throw the ball. last year the wrs complained he threw to hard but i think he understands touch and they are the ones that need to adjust to how he throws the ball. i just hope he sticks with his insticts about his velocity on the ball and he will be ok. i also think he is alot more mobile then ppl give him credit for.

lumpkin....love to watch him run. i love the energy he plays with. he knows how to finish runs and he almost always finishes going forward. could be a rough year for him tho if our line doesnt come together since he isnt much of a dancer. he is gonna need to make some ppl miss in the backfield quite often.

thomas brown...i wish he would redshirt. he is one of my favorite players on the team and i think he would be so much more usefull next year then he would this year. he is a playmaker tho. he is also a very high energy player. i think he will get alot of the work when we go 4 wide which i think we will end up havin to do alot due to weaknesses in our oline.

momass...all the tools and now has plenty of exp. last year i think he was somewhat upset that his former teammate didnt get more of a chance at the startin qb spot. he was one of the ones that said stafford thru too hard. but after readin some interviews i think he now has the attitude to go along with his abilities.

kris durham...i think he is gonna be a clutch wr for us. he seems to be one of those right place right time guys and i think him and stafford work well together. he attacks the ball in the air and i like that alot.

mikey henderson...still dont see him as a very polished wr. i think we will use him on some things like screens and we will give him some shots deep but i still dont see him gettin a huge chunk of playing time at wr.

sean bailey...glad he is back...if he can be consistant then he will be huge for us. thats a big if tho. he has yet to really be consistant since he has been at uga. he has the speed and route running ability to make plays tho so hopefully he will step up as our no. 1.

AJ bryant...ive had high hopes for him for about 3 years now and he has still only showed flashes...during the summer he did run a sub 4.4 fourty. he has good size but he hasnt played much so hard to really break him down.

demiko goodman...another wr with tons of speed and potential that eason hasnt developed.

brannan southerland...he speaks for himself...very solid..no glaring weakness that i can see

O-line...who knows at this point...we dont even kno who is startin for sure

DEFENSE

bryan evans...my favorite player on D this year. i think he is a special player. great quickness and top speed. i think he will be one of the best man to man cover guys we have had at uga. he also doesnt have a problem stickin his head in on a tackle.

asher allen...he will have some growing pains. he likes to take chances and jump routes. he will get some picks but he will get beat deep a few times this year on double move routes. good thing is he is playin short corner and we will almost always have a safety over the top of him.

kelin johnson...i keep hearin how much of a leader he has become but i dont hear much about him getting better on the field. he is solid but not a playmaker. doesnt have great speed and isnt a big hitter. his exp will keep him in the lineup longer then his talent will. he is a very solid player tho.

cj byrd...all the talent and potential in the world but hasnt developed like i thought he would. i thnk reshad takes his spot pretty early.

LBS...havent seen enuf of any of them to kno

marcus howard...against a team like florida i could see him doing good. but i worried teams are gonna try to pound us off tackle to his side. there isnt much 6'2 220 can do with a 6'6 320 pound OT pushin him around.

jeff owens....very solid player that will have a huge year. might help the rest of our dline out by being the only one of them that could demand double teams.

kade westin. he needs to get quicker. with his size he could be a beast inside but he has got to keep his weight down and get quicker.

i kno there is alot more but i cant really breakdown players i havent seen play.

Brandon Miller??

ive never seen him play mlb....he barely played olb last year. i wished we would just move him to DE. he was the top rated DE comin out of hs and we are seriously lacking in size at the DE. id rather have his 6'4 260 over marcus howard's 6'2 220 anyday

yea but he still didnt play much...even in the games he did start...i think he barely had over 20 tackles on the season even tho he played in every game

there's a lot of question marks for this years team. will stafford continue to improve? will mohammed learn how to catch again? will bailey return to pre-injury form? how will the OL perform? how will miller do at MLB? how much will Oliver be missed? i think turnovers killed UGA last year. if stafford keeps the INTs to a minimal, i don't see how UGA can't contend for the east. that's my 2 cents at least

the o line and our DE's are my biggest concern

if we had retained paul oliver, i would have a lot fewer concerns on D. it doesn't just affect our secondary...with a shutdown corner like oliver, you can stack the box, forget about the WR, and dedicate more attention to the run or pressuring the QB. i think oliver will be missed more than people realize right now. that said, we always have stars that step up on D.

our losses (2-3, i believe) will be due to our O-line. we certainly have enough ability at QB and RB, but if there are no holes and no time to throw, they will be a non-factor on several series.

I agree about Oliver. At the time it happened, I felt like it might add to our loss total by at least one. And from what I'm hearing about the OL injuries, that may contribute to one or two more.

Nah. I just like to hear whats going on around the SEC. Esp with most of my friends being UGA fans. This makes it easier to talk football with them.

That's pretty far. I'm up here in VT Hokie country. If Al Gore hadn't invented the internet, I would have no clue as to what's going on with the Dawgs.

 I guess up there in Hokie country you don't get to see the Dawgs on a regular basis.

Nope. But even if I can't catch them on TV, I can listen to Munson (or whomever will do the road games this year) on georgiadogs.com.

Funny. These Hokie fans aren't nearly as loud around me as they were this time last year.

Good insight. Now that Miller has moved to SLB and Ellerbe is the MLB, things are getting settled. Seems that both have taken to the changes. Add in Flowers is doing well at CB overtaking Asher Allen. Wynn has moved to DT, apparently the DE's are doing quite well.

Now we just need that OL to settle in.
