Greetings Tiger fans,

I'm thinking of coming down to Baton Rouge this year to watch the SC-LSU game. I was just curious if anyone could tell me what sections were the away sections. Trying to buy tickets on the internet and I would like to sit with Gamecock fans (no offense...lol). Thanks in advance.

Actually, I'm going to Baton Rouge this year as well. I'm getting tickets from an LSU fan, though. And I'll be painted up in my GatorColors! :biggrin:

:laugh: be careful...i've never been to baton rouge...i heard it is the tougest place to play in all of the southeast...probably all of the country

I haven't been to either stadium (the swamp or the REAL death valley), both stadiums (and probably neyland also) are probably in the top 10 (as far as hardest to play in in the country), but I just heard that some LSU fans are CRAZY...but I guess every fan base has those

Yeah, I've been to the Rouge and some of them are definitely off of their rocker... particularly after a loss.

I would recommend East Upper Deck, Section 636 or 637 if you can get it.
Stay away from North, Section 218; the student section.
Most likely USC fan base: South, 404 or 405 (horrible seats, though)

Good places to eat:
Parrains on Perkins Road (best seafood in town)
Mike Andersons on College Drive (legendary fried seafood)
Rocco's on Drusilla Lane (outstanding poboys)
*Almost every restaurant in Baton Rouge is equipped with a full service bar.
