It was announced on the 6 o'clock news tonight in Baton Rouge that Les Miles has reinstated Ryan Perrilloux and that he will start practice on schedule. They also had pictures of the players reporting to their housing units this afternoon.

Good news. Hope he learned his lesson and keeps his nose clean from this point on.

I dont know why he was even suspended this long. He didnt do anything that was that bad.

I dont think what he did was bad enough to keep him out this long.

I have a feeling that Perrilloux will really get with the program this year. He must sense that he was practicing last year with four guys who are now millionaires because of their devotion to their skills. That plus the harsh wake-up call he got from provoking Miles should lead him down the right path. He has to realize that he, too, could be a millionaire in a few years if he will use these next two years to develop his skills with the team, obey the rules, and keep up his grades. And for us LSU fans, we can look forward to another premier QB following Matt Flynn. That will give the freshman QB, Lee ample time to develop so that he can follow Perrilloux in 2009. The QB position at LSU is looking pretty good, IMO.

Do you think he could be the next Vince Young? He isnt as fast but he sure can run it. I am more excited to see him play than any other player. I hope he gets some actual PT against weaker opponents.

I think we'll definitely see him against Middle Tennessee, Tulane, and Louisiana Tech. And, hopefully, mopup duty against many others!
