It's simple. Which game in 2007 are you most looking forward to watching? It doesn't even have to be your own team.

Personally, Alabama vs. F$U.

I am looking forward to that game also , and I believe that LSU is going to take VT down. Should be a good one though.

UF at LSU is THE SEC game of the year, for sure. The WLOCP is always a lot of fun. OOC, I want to see Florida and Bama thump F$U.

USC vs Notre DAME...I enjoy watching that every year just because i love to watch ND get spanked. But in all honestly UGA/UF we might have a chance.

The LSU game is circled every year. I also enjoy the Memphis Ole Miss game for ooc. We should beat the hell out of Memphis this year.

Our game will be great. It's going to be absolutely electric at Death Valley. Personally, I don't think Vagina Tech stands a chance against y'all. They will be playing with a purpose, though, after the campus tragedy.

I think they will be emotionally drained. Gameday comes to there game the week before. Sure they play ECU, but its the first game since the shootings so they will play with alot of emotion. It will be like LSU beating ASU then losing to Tennessee in 2005.

Any game that I can go to in person...being PSU vs ND, PSU vs OSU, and some unknown game of SC vs to be decided.

Other than that, LSU vs VT should be great, although I will miss that being at PSU vs ND. I am looking forward to SC vs UGA. I think it will go a long way in determining SC's season.

I always enjoy the rivalry between UGA and Auburn. The year I really wasnt looking forward to that game was in 2004. That game hurt to watch.

After that, its a toss up between UF, UT, and USC.

Hey Rebel Chuck, I agree you should beat Memphis, But they circle that game, It is like the biggest rival they have because you are so close to them They will play you or MSU tooth and toenail and when they beat ya it is like they won a championship,,,

My favorite to watch other than MSU.OM is always year in and year out Auburn Alabama... Just love the pagentry... and hoopla of that one,,,

Time does but as soon as college football season starts up again its going to get everyone right back on the VT Tragedy. There will be interviews with gameday and the nation will be tuned in on everything VT does. Dont think that VATECH wont have a chance they will have the majority of the country on their side. Just becuase LSU blew it against UT doesnt mean VT will play dead.

i have no doubt the media will rehash those memories. but i still think the tragedies are vastly different on so many levels. the nation will be behind them, but it'll have no effect on the field IMO. VT will be charged up but the 93,000 in the stadium and the 22 starters across the line will be indifferent to their loss once the game starts.

I think the Alabama Auburn game is the one that will be remembered, not to discount LSU and FSU, but this game is going to be tough. I feel like we will see a knock down drag out war between Groves and Smith with Fannin trying to streak out into the secondary, Grant cutting some gashes that leave the Aubies running the wrong way. Lester will provide fresh legs, while Brown and Hall provide an areal show. Gettysburg will begin to pale as these two blood relatives fight to the death in a battle of good ole southern iron bowl braging rights. I already feel tired and the game iisn't until Nov 24. I better go polish up my musket and cast some musket balls.

That should be a killer. An overrated Michigan with no defense vs an Ohio state team with no offense and perhaps the most overrated player in laurainits

SEC
1. UF/AU @ LSU = It is hard to decide who I hate more this early. I guess AU gets the tiebreaker for being in the West.
2. USC @ UGA = Week 2 matchup btw two "surprise" teams to win the East.
3. All of the rivalry games = I can't get enough of SEC football.

OOC
1. VT @ LSU = Week 2. Great D's. NC implications. I'm an LSU fan.
2. Bama vs FSU = Close to No. 1 for me. Intrigued by the matchup btw two teams struggling to be back in the title hunt.
3. UT @ Cal = This one was close. If I would pick which OOC game I would most want an SEC team to win for conference pride, it would probably be UL @ UK.

tigervet4
07-21-2007, 12:40 AM
Also

USF @ AU = call me crazy, but if AU's OL doesn't step up early, this could be a close defensive battle in Week 2. I guess it would be a moral victory for USF, and the Big East, if AU doesn't win by 7-10+.

For Bama games:

-Alabama vs. Florida State: Interesting OOC matchup with a lot of intriguing storylines

-Alabama vs. LSU: Saban vs. his old team. This game will likely hold some clout for the SEC West race.

-Alabama vs. Auburn: The Iron Bowl - Saban vs. Tuberville. Part I. 'Nuff said.

Non-Bama SEC games:

-Auburn vs. LSU - Always comes down to the wire. Winner could have the inside track on the road to Atlanta.

-Florida vs. LSU - Possibly a preview of the SEC CG.

-Florida vs. South Carolina - SC came up just shy last year. This year, it's in Columbia. Spurrier would love to knock off his old team...the defending national champs.

Out-of-conference games for SEC teams:

-LSU vs. Va Tech: Interesting matchup between two conference heavyweights.

-Tennessee vs. Cal: What a great way to start off the season with an SEC team on the road against a big-name OOC opponent.

-Kentucky vs. Louisville: If Woodson and the UK offense controls the time of possession, and avoids the mental mistakes...we could be looking at a major upset on September 15th.

And I love the fact that bama fan has turn into their coach. The most important game for them for their new beginning, and Arkansas isn't even on their radar. What a hoot. You have to learn to walk before you run you $-boys
