If WVU doesn't go undefeated this season I'll be seriously surprised.

You've got to give this kid serious credit for his recent work. Obviously he's had problems in his past, and everyone on this site completely wrote him off...myself included. Congrats to him for getting eligible.

I'm with you if it's legit, Omaha, but color me skeptical. He went from an absolute no chance of qualifying with a ridiculously low ACT and sub 2.0 GPA to a mid 2's GPA and good-enough ACT in a little less than a month. I'm sure he put some extra effort into it but there had to be some help from more than a couple erasers as well.

Hopefully, he'll turn out to be a better citizen than other WVU products like Chris Henry and Pacman Jones; reading this article makes it sound as if he's cut from a different mold than those two but I could write a story about Michael Vick and make him sound like a choir boy if I really wanted to. Time will tell & like I said, color me skeptical.

I'm glad the guy's got the opportunity, it's how he handles it that I'll be looking at.
